Lovely little spot! In a scenic area, very cozy and comfortable. Not far from some beautiful parks and trails. It didn't get super cold while we were staying there (maybe low 40s), but the little buddy heater that was provided does great at keeping the space warm. William was very kind and responsive—hopefully next time we get a chance to join them when they feed the critters on the farm!

Perfect spot if you are trying to serve as a base for hikes near Jim Thorpe or various Adirondack trailheads. Short drive to the pulpit/pinnacle, Jim Thorpe, glen onoko, and sawmill trail. Some of the most iconic PA hikes to be had. The space itself was comfortable and very private, behind an old steel bridge with a coded gate permitting entry to the grounds. There even was a large garden on site we didn't have time to check out. Will definitely be back!

This was a real gem. Beautifully designed inside and out. A great way to celebrate spring with the most lovely forsythia right outside the bedroom window. Excellent instructions to the charming antique stove and oven. Although close to other houses it has a real private feel. Very responsive host.

it was a great place to stay the biggest reason we picked this place it had no smoking & no pets & was lots of places to hike we enjoy nature & trails to walk in the woods it was all there & the view was great the privacy was as good as you could have made it there was some traffic in and out of the road beside it but not a lot we did really like the clean house when we got there very good job & everything was very well explained to details Thanks a lot for letting us stay we will defiantly be back

We loved our stay at Country Splendor! So many amenities and special touches that made us feel right at home. The house and grounds are beautiful and peaceful with plenty of room to relax. We used the fire pit with wood that was provided. We rode their bikes. Our dinner plans even fell through one night and we were saved because of the stocked pantry and refrigerator/freezer. I can't recommend this place enough and would gladly stay here again when in the area. Thank you, Lorraine and Ron. You're the best!

It was a great place to spend 2 days with kids. My kids loved the horses n roosters next door as they spotted them. Jeff was very responsive

This is my favorite airbnb I’ve ever visited. This part of PA is stunning and the property is beautifully maintained. Every nook artfully curated and every plant lovingly tended. The yoga space was expertly outfitted with every prop, low lighting, and peaceful vibe. The common are in the barn and on the land was inviting and generously appointed. I will return again and again.
