For families there are child locks, stair gates, cot and high chair available upon request. Part of the downstairs is locked off for work space and will be in use through the day. As featured in series 10 of BBC's 'Shetland', Spindrift is deal for those who enjoy beaches, walks, birdwatching and dramatic cliffs. 'Spindrift' is a traditional white 2-bedroom cottage situated almost on a sheltered sandy beach. Levenwick is conveniently located on the South Mainland of Shetland, half way between Lerwick and Sumburgh Airport and close to many attractions. It has a regular bus service. From Spindrift you can stroll to the beach, launch boats from the sand and take cliff walks.

Waddle Self Catering

The Waddle is a traditional Shetland croft house, refurbished to offer a homely and comfortable stay for guests. Situated in a peaceful, quiet, remote location just over a mile from the nearby village of Walls, tucked in under the hill overlooking a sea-loch, it's a perfect place to enjoy Shetlands wildlife, scenery, peace and freedom. The Waddle is situated on an active croft. We have approximately 250 sheep with lambing in the spring, silage baling in the summer and feeding in the winter.

Take a 5-10min stroll over the hill and down to the bothy nestled among reeds on the shore to feel a thousand miles from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Sleeps up to 4 persons with power supplied via 240V battery power pack. Drinking water will be supplied and shower/sink supply will be topped up as required.
