Situated at the start of the Wasdale and Eskdale we are perfect for anyone wishing to climb Scafell or just enjoy the two stunning valleys. Brave drivers and cyclists may wish to tackle Hardnott pass at the top end of Eskdale. Ravensglass village and beaches a short walk away, also set on the Fell above the cottage is the amazing Muncaster Castle and Owl centre. Children and Pet friendly 🐾👍🏼

Ada’s Cottage is a seaside property based in the West Lake District/West Cumbria. The cottage backs onto the beach and is in a peaceful little village with 3 country pubs and cafe. The village also boasts the La’al Ratty; a famous Lake District steam railway. The property sleeps 4 people in 2 rooms- One double & One Twin. With both modern and original nautical features, this property is a very cosy and unique stay. Located in an ideal location to discover the Lake District via foot or train.

1 Santon Cottages is a beautiful house situated in the North West Lake District. It is very close to Scafell Pike- the highest peak in England, Wastwater lake- the deepest in England and the coast is a 10 minute drive. The house has breath taking views over the fells and is well equipped with all you will need including a log burner, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Free wifi included. Pets are very welcome and there is a private fully secure garden. Extra Charge of £30 per stay.

An ideal place to relax or to be adventurous. We are located perfectly to give you great access to the beautiful, unspoilt fells, lakes, rivers, tarns and coastline the area has to offer. The Cabin comprises of a Kitchen, mezzanine Bedroom, living area and adjoining bathroom. ( I list this cabin for 2 people but would consider allowing up to 4 guests if you contact me especially if you wanted to bring children for instance) Please note this property may not be suitable for guests with specific disabilities if a fire occurred.

Wastwater shepherd's hut comes complete with a double bed, kitchen area with induction hob and a bathroom with shower. Perfect place to start numerous walks from the doorstep including many of the popular Wainwright hills such as Scafell Pike and Illgill Head. Easy access to the lake for kayaking etc.

With numerous tourist attractions nearby, you're spoiled for choice. Pet friendly country pubs, café and bakery all within walking distance.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay in the Western Lake District. There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep. The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.

We are a stones throw from the stunning Wasdale Valley with Wastwater being named Britains best view and also home to Englands highest mountain- Scafell Pike. Perfect for couples or a family with 2 children under 13. Maximum 2 adults. As we are a working farm there will be animals and working machinery around the farm.
