Jennie greeted us and let us into her wonderful property, showing us the best places to take walks and visit in the area. An extremly lovely house to come back to after long walks or day trips out and even had the perfect weather to enjoy the hot tub. It was just two of us staying in the property so more than enough room for anyone with a party of 4 looking to book somewhere - a positive and amazing first Air BnB experience, highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying here!

Jo was super helpful, very friendly wonderful host. Excellent communication. The facilities were perfect, lovely location, very quiet and private but close to all amenities. The lodge is very tastefully decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Will definitely be back.

Amazing place, great location near some lovely walks and pubs. Hot tub was brilliant and kids managed to swim in river !

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay for our daughters 21st birthday celebrations with family. She is a stately home fan and this house was like a mini one! We all had a lovely weekend and Penny was very helpful if we needed anything. Thank you for use of your beautiful house!

Emma is a great host she dealt with an issue early on extremely quickly and professionally, the cottage is a wonderful place to chill and relax with breathtaking views which all of the family enjoyed to look at, my daughter coming home said she wants to come back again which I’m sure we will!

Great stay. Friendly & helpful host. Lots of character in the house. The only down side for me ( but not the rest of the party )was the steps up from the car port to the house as I am a little unsteady on my legs. But other than that a great place. Lovely pub just down the road too

Emma was a fantastic host. She greeted us when we arrived and was really kind and helpful throughout. The place we stayed at was perfect for my wife and I. It was cosy, private and peaceful. The space was really clean and there was a helpful instructions booklet with recommendations too. The surrounding area was beautiful and scenic and it was easy for us to get to places in the Peak District. The Hot Tub was the cherry on top. If we were to come back to visit the Peak District, staying at Emma's place would be our No. 1 choice.

From the moment I booked, Rebecca was responsive and helpful. My partner and I spent 5 nights here and really didn’t want to leave. Perfect base to drive into the Peak District for exploring and then to return home for a relaxing evening in the hot tub and cook a meal in the well equipped kitchen. Plenty of pubs and local restaurants to choose from which Rebecca had left lots of info about, The accommodation was spotless and we would love to stay again.

Sometimes you stay in places that are nice but you think your home is nicer, so it’s all a bit pointless. Well, not this place. The cabin is tastefully decorated, with small touches that have been thought through and considered - like the choice of books (not often you see Jumpa Lahiri in a collection!), the lighting, the comfy bed, the shower, etc. It’s all fabulous. The brook outside is soothing and the surrounding walks are beautiful. I’d love to come back in the autumn, when the leaves are turning and we get to light the wood burner. It’s rare that I get the ‘moving out of London’ fantasies - but this place certainly made me have a few!

Amazing place, great hosts. Had a really nice weekend here. Place is in such a nice location there wasn’t any need to go out anywhere. Loved the stay!

Lovely lodge in serene setting - very very quiet on single track road. Cycle paths very close. Sherwood pines centre close. Great stay with two grandchildren and family called in.

This was my first time booking an Air BNB, and I was a bit unsure since I usually stay in hotels. We had a fantastic time during our getaway; the pod was warm and tidy. Traveling with our 2-year-old was a breeze because the garden was fenced, allowing her to play outside safely. The setting was stunning, just a short stroll to the town, yet it remained tranquil and serene. We enjoyed our evenings relaxing on the deck beneath the garden lights. Luke and Sally were incredibly accommodating, providing great suggestions for local attractions. We chatted with Luke both mornings, and he was friendly and easy to talk to. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home, and as soon as we returned, we started checking for the next available dates to come back because we enjoyed it so much. We definitely plan to return soon. Thank you!

The pod was stunning. Such a beautiful location and Katie was so friendly and helpful. It was a great way to spend my birthday celebrations with my partner! I would 100% return and recommend to friends and family. Thanks again!

Ideal little get away. I ended up going on my own and needed a quiet retreat. It is close enough to others that I didn't feel isolated, but wasn't bothered at all whilst there. Lovely spot looking over the lake and the fields beyond and a cosy cabin. Pretty much everything I needed, thank you for the welcome pack. I would agree that a stove top would be useful in the kitchenette. Hot water pressure is also very low. Great for the dog, but be aware if you bring dogs, that the area is not fully fenced and there is livestock around. Will definitely be returning, thank you 😊

Ita and Michael were very welcoming, responsive and helpful and they made us feel right at home, the property is beautiful with great amenities and in such a stunning location, we could not recommend staying here enough!
