"The Chalet" Shenandoah Valley Getaway w/ Hot Tub

The chalet was a perfect home base for our stay in the valley over a birthday weekend. Derek gave us clear instructions ahead of time, we had no trouble getting in. We were able to just crash and watch TV the first night in front of the electric fireplace. Second night we hit the hot tub which we needed after a long hike. We found good restaurants in Front Royal and Luray (Osteria Maria, Chop House Bistro) and for coffee in the morning Broad Porch. Check out was also easy, we just needed to strip the beds and take out the trash. And of course we loved being able to bring our doggo. My fiancee had previously been hosted by Derek and we would definitely stay here again.

Dolly is a very responsive host. Her home is beautiful, spacious, and in a great location. We were thrilled to know that we could play golf with our resort passes to Bryce. We found a lot of fun things to do in the area and very much enjoyed our stay.The house was very comfortable and the hot tub and sauna were great bonuses. We highly recommend this house to anyone coming to the area.

What a relaxing little place to retreat from the world for a couple of days! The area is very quiet, and the cabin is very cozy. Everything is well laid out and labeled, and while we didn't get to spend as much time outside as I'd normally like (due to rain/chilly weather), it was perfectly cozy inside and felt like a little retreat in the clouds. Thanks!

This is the second time I have stayed at Nathan's and it is such a great spot to work, relax, and enjoy the outdoors. Nathan is an incredibly thoughtful host who goes above and beyond for his guests. I don't think this will be the last time I stay at Nathan's!

The Woodpecker's Chalet

The woodpecker’s chalet was a beautiful cabin with an amazing view to go to sleep to and wake up to. Natasha was so friendly and responsive and gave us wonderful recommendations. I can’t say enough how gorgeous her place is and how comfortable we were staying there. I definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a beautiful, peaceful, clean place and enjoy taking in the scenery!

Perfect getaway! This stay provided all of us with a perfectly peaceful location. Our host was beyond kind and friendly. The snow we had during our time made the experience that much more magical. If you need a disconnect and some peace and quiet but close to conveniences like Walmart this is the place!

We loved our short stay at Cinnamon Knoll. The views were amazing! We loved relaxing on the deck, in the hot tub & enjoying the propane fire pit. Beds were comfortable and the whole place was warm & welcoming!

Relaxing A-Frame Chalet w Fire Pit on Bryce Resort

This is the second year we stayed here. Was perfect for two adults and two young kids. House was close to the slopes and was a really quick drive. The house has everything you need. Fun location for kids to learn how to ski!
