You'll love our cabin in the woods! Once a historic mercantile, the Wissahickon Cabin has been transformed into a cozy cabin for 2 - 4 guests. The cabin is situated in the forest and visible from the Gandy Dancer Trail. The front porch boasts an access path directly to the popular Woolly Bike Trail. Our cabin is secluded in the woods, but it's less than a 5-minute drive to downtown St Croix Falls, Interstate Park, dining, shopping, and entertainment. Enjoy a peaceful getaway in the north woods!

This home may not be suitable for infants because of an open stairwell. (Allergy alert: a dog lives here, but not during your stay. Snow removal/lawn mowing is provided. This is our primary home that we make available while we are traveling. Dogs not allowed.

The Side Door Guesthouse is nestled in the charming town of Excelsior, MN, near Lake Minnetonka. The private side-door entry leads you up 15 steps to a bright and comfortable getaway. Just two blocks from downtown Excelsior, it's an easy walk to beaches, paddle board/kayak rental, bike trails, restaurants, movie theater, Excelsior brewery, coffee shops and shopping. WINTER, We have a circular driveway and a flat driveway. I do my own snow plowing. This is a lovely 640 square foot, mother in law apt on a 5 acres estate, It's very private, quiet and safe with a private entrance. The traffic is light and contact with people is non-existent. Four rooms with a Queen bedroom, A full size pull out sofa in the sitting room, a kitchenette with laundry facilities and a full bath with shower. We are 20 min from downtown Mpls. Off street parking.
