what a wonderful stay! we got snowed in the first day, but the hosts were very helpful in letting us know about street plowing, etc. They were very responsive about any questions. The place itself is wonderfully appointed, and easy access to Dodge Ridge, Leland Snowolay, Twain Harte, and Sugar Shack. 😁

This is a beautiful cabin, it’s great for everyone but especially for families. My kids enjoyed the two little chairs and table upstairs it was a perfect size for them. They have a toddler gate for the stairs. The room upstairs is private and it has its own bathroom. Very peaceful area. Steve and Cathy are very helpful, such a kind couple. They left us some hot chocolate and some Biscotti. We used the fire pit once to make s’mores and they were kind enough to help us start it. There is no reception which we already knew before booking, but the Wi-Fi was great so we were able to still use our phone with no problem. There is a grocery store about 14 mins away from the cabin that we know of but they do close at 7pm. Overall we had a great stay.

Molly’s place was the perfect long weekend getaway for our family of 8. Location was perfect, close to Heavenly and the downtown area. The place was spacious, has great communal areas for relaxing, and large kitchen area with updated appliances. Only thing missing was a hot tub after a long day of skiing! Molly is an excellent host and was responsive to all of our requests/questions. We greatly enjoyed her house and would stay here again!

Beyond our expectations where they even have provisions of things you need in the kitchen, bathrooms and all. The game room was a room packed with fun and love the hot tub. We also loved the wrap Around porch both levels. Looking forward to coming again… and on an annual basis!

A beautiful home! Thoroughly enjoyed staying here, would stay again! We skied Kirkwood, which was 35-40 mins drive away. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots/plans/utensils and some basic pantry items too. Super easy to access the front door and the heating system worked well. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect, close to everything with lots to do nearby. The space was clean, spacious, and very kid-friendly. Would definitely come back again!

We went with a friend's family and there were 4 kids aged 1,3,4 and 5. The jungle gym was an instant hit. The backyard was gorgeous and plenty of snow to play with for the kids without having to drive or go anywhere. Warm home , warm host , basic common sense rules and simple instructions. Good location just a 4-5 mins drive to King's beach. Had a great time - couldn't ask for more.

Great location. Spacious three bedroom house. Family trip to the Snow. Close to Sierra at Tahoe, sledding, walking and hiking trails. Holiday Market has everything you need. Convenient location. Nice to have a garage to park in considering the three feet of snow we got on the first day. Roads are plowed on a regular basis. Had a great stay. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay! Z was very responsive when I messaged with questions both before our stay and during. We got to the house really late due to a delayed flight and a very snowy drive so we did a few circles before finding the house. We were tired and it was kind of hard to see and bad gps, but once we got used to the area it was so easy to find! Location was great if you like the Nevada side of Heavenly, which we do. The house was well equipped with kitchen equipment and even seasonings. We loved the very cozy dual living rooms with fire places, both upstairs and downstairs. We appreciated the hot tub after a day of snowboarding. Everything was clean and comfortable, we enjoyed our stay very much. Would definitely recommend staying here!

This house is an absolute gem! It’s so cool, fantastic environment, beautifully decorated with everything you’ll need. It’s smack in the middle of amazing redwood trees, walkable to town and close to so many activities. The hosts are equally great, so friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t have changed a single thing. Our kids are already asking when we can go back!

Our family of 9 plus an infant and a toddler stayed at Steve’s for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. Steve was very responsive to any questions we had. The labels in the house and instructions made it really easy to know where things were. Steve’s place met all of our needs and was more than enough room for our family. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you’d need to use to cook with. The open space with the living room and kitchen was the perfect place for all of us to gather and the view is stunning! There is also a hot tub out on the deck looking out to the lake. Steve also gave me recommendations for golfing in the area. Some of us went and enjoyed an afternoon at the nearby golf course that he told me about. We had a great family trip and would definitely stay here again.

Very attentive, at one point all we needed was a lighter and she had someone drop it off within the hour without us even asking, it was very kind and efficient. The house was beautiful, slightly smaller than we expected but beautiful. Only thing I will say is that we were under the impression that the listing has a BBQ Grill and unfortunately that was not something that was available or warned about, we had to find out from asking host. The airbnb was phenomenal nonetheless. Very happy with the stay! The kitchen was OUTSTANDING also! So much kitchenware to work with.

Absolutely unforgettable stay at Jen’s place in Arnold! From the moment we arrived at the W, we were blown away by how gorgeous and peaceful everything was. Jen was an incredible host—super responsive, thoughtful, and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. The space was cozy, clean, and had that perfect mountain vibe that made it feel like a dream getaway. We made so many amazing memories here—late-night laughs, morning coffee with stunning views, and moments we’ll never forget. You can really tell Jen puts her heart into making this a special experience for her guests. Highly, highly recommend staying here if you want a 5-star escape in the mountains. We’re already planning our next trip back!

We had such a great stay! Quiet neighborhood, clear instructions for everything, super clean, everything was labeled —-just an absolute breeze! This is a nice house for anyone looking for the quiet of the forest. Rita and Nathan give local recs for everything. We went to Murphys for meals and wine tasting and visited the local parks and state park to get some fresh air. Kitchen was so well equipped for all our meals. If you have little ones with you, this place is a godsend. They had toys, pack and play, a crib, childproof cabinets, child proof plugs, childproof furniture—it made our lives a little easier not having to chase after the kid constantly. The fireplace is non-operational and they currently don’t have a washer dryer. Both would have been nice but we were only there a short time. And Rita and Nathan said they’re in the process of renovating so that could change by the time you book. They were honestly the most helpful hosts and so responsive. Wonderful stay!

Had an amazing short stay. We totally loved the setting right at the lake. All amenities were spot on and perfectly set up. 5/5 will definitely come back

This is a spacious cabin in a beautiful spot. We loved being surrounded by snow. It did take 24 hours to warm up though the loft was always very warm. The beds were super comfy - they even had flannels sheets. Lots of room for everyone.

we loved our stay at Dominique's place. It was very conveniently located. A few mins to restaurants , rec center and the lake. The place itself was so fun!! We enjoyed the game room quite a lot. Would recommend to anyone visiting Arnold!

This lake house was perfect in every way! Both the inside and outside were amazing, offering the ideal getaway. The view of the moon at night reflecting on the lake was breathtaking, casting a beautiful shadow over the water. You see wildlife surroundings and also birds which migrates during the winter. From the bedroom, the view was absolutely fantastic it’s the kind of scenery that makes you feel completely relaxed and at peace. Overall staying here felt like therapy for the soul. It’s definitely worth every moment and I highly recommend it !!
