This is a beautifully built home and Siddharth is an amazing and a very warm host. The place is even better than what is shown in the images, it has a warm and peaceful vibe, exactly what we were looking for. We were regretting why did we not book it for longer. Siddharth was in touch through out and ensured that we are comfortable and get everything we need. The cook cooked really good home cooked food. The view from the glass house and bedrooms were icing on the cake and we just loved to have morning tea in the balcony enjoying the beautiful mountains. We had a wonderful experience and we would love to come back again soon.

We had a truly wonderful stay at The Verandah, Bhimtal. We were a group of 4 senior citizens, 5 adults, kids, and an infant, and the property turned out to be the perfect choice for all age groups. It’s clean, well-maintained, and easily accessible by car — a big plus when traveling with seniors and little ones. The highlight of our experience was the exceptional hospitality. The staff — Krishna, Chandan, Himanshu, and Anmol — were incredibly polite, warm, and always available when needed, yet respectfully invisible when we wanted our space. Their service was seamless and thoughtful in every way. A special mention to Amrit, the owner, who is kind, humble, and genuinely cares about her guests' experience. We were there to celebrate my son's 5th birthday, and thanks to the team, it became a truly memorable occasion for all of us. Highly recommended for families looking for a peaceful, cozy, and heartwarming getaway in Bhimtal. We'd love to return!

This review does not do justice to our stay and experience at the writer's lodge and the main cottage. All amenities are available at the cottage. The cottage is located almost at the top of the mountain, and the view from here is spectacular. The greenery around and the silence of the mountains brings calmness and peace. The caretaker, Raju, and his helper Sourav were very courteous and helpful. Raju cooked delicious home cooked meals for us. The host Shalini was receptive and very co-operative. I had a very warm and comfortable stay. I'm so grateful to shalini for sharing her home with us. I'm extremely thankful to Raju for making us feel at home with his cooked meals.

We were 8 people with 2 kids, it felt almost like home away from home. The caretaker Suresh & his colleague were simply very humble and nice. The Food was top notch quality & very decently priced. Both Suresh and his colleague were always responsive and ready to help and provide. Everyone was extremely happy with Arjun's arrangement. Always recommended & we will re-visit at same place whenever in Nainital.

Everything was perfectly organized, making us feel comfortable and relaxed from the moment we arrived. A special mention must go to Kailashji and Trilokji, whose hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. They welcomed us with open arms and treated us like family, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their kindness, attention to detail, and genuine care created a homely environment that we deeply appreciated. And the food—what a treat! Every meal was delicious, prepared with love and full of authentic flavors. It was the perfect blend of comfort and taste. We’re incredibly grateful for such a memorable experience and the warmth shown to us throughout our visit.

It was wonderful to stay at your villa. It is more beautiful and maintained than described. We were a family of 15, and it was a perfect place to stay and celebrate. High cooperation from the hosts and the attending staff. The food prepared was also up to the mark. Very well located. Not very far away from the mall road and had all the calmness we needed. I recently booked this homestay on Airbnb last minute, and it turned out to be the best decision. The newly developed A-frame wooden cottages offered a stunning sunrise view from the massive balcony. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for four guests. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a delightful stay. The host, Daksh, ensured a smooth check-in process and provided me with fantastic suggestions for nearby attractions. I was thoroughly impressed by the hospitality and service provided by Daksh, making my experience even more enjoyable.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Cullinan House’s studio apartment in Nainital, Uttarakhand, and it was an exceptional experience. The studio was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The comfortable furnishings and well-equipped amenities made it feel like a home away from home. The location is ideal, offering easy access to Nainital’s attractions while being nestled in a tranquil neighborhood. The serene surroundings provided a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. It was clear that they genuinely cared about my experience and were always available to help, whether it was offering local recommendations, answering questions, or just checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly. The host's polite and respectful manner really stood out and made me feel right at home. Their attention to detail and hospitality truly enhanced my stay. It’s not often you come across someone so kind and committed to providing a great experience for their guests. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better host. We had a lovely time at Jai's place. The place was spick and span. The view from the property was wonderful. Rawal Sahab, our caretaker was the added bonus we received along with the stay. He was always at our service. We came with high expectations and left with immense satisfaction.

We had a wonderful stay at Karan's place. It is away from the usual tourist hubs within a short driving distance to Sattal and Bhimtal and has a great view of the valley from the terrace and balcony, which are open to guests. The caretaker, Mr Saraj was very polite and attentive to all our requests and Karan kindly provided an early check in. The room was clean and comfortable.

It is a fantastic place with very warm people. Devika Aunty is an amazing woman who has created a magical corner surrounded by hills. Her charming cottage is decorated with peach plants, blooming hydrengeas and hemmed by lovely pink climbing rose vines. Her staff is caring and take great effort to make the guests feel comfortable. Every meal we had here is a memory to cherish - from bengali luchis to pahadi rajma and ragi roti. It is a place to relax and reflect, a slice of good life that we all chase put together affectionately by the incredible Devika Aunty.

An amazing escape from your crowded metro life . A place where you can actually hear the birds chirp. Very peaceful and serene. The star gazing was amazing. The place is exactly as shown in the pictures. Riddhi is an amazing person and a very responsive host. Makes you feel right at home. They had 4 dogs and kunwar singh was the best :)❤️ Shagun and Riddhi have worked very hard to make this place unique and lovely. It felt like a peaceful adventure trip.

The place felt right at home and it was peaceful, calm, and serene. There was a lovely view from the drawing room and it was quite beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. It’s a private property and was easy to find. A proper cottage for a family and a big group. The caretaker was really helpful and provided really good service and cooked home cooked meals that were very healthy and tasty. Overall a must stay.

This experience at Ashok Lall's house has been my best so far... an architect's house so well thaught that, apart from the great decoration, furniture, everything personal of high and subtle taste, every detail - that you slowly discover while living the place - perfectly fits and reflect the landscape : only the last day of the full week I spent there did I discover that the sunset reflected in the window miror of the bathroom, or that the garden transat's shape reproduced the curves of the hills visible on top... Perfect place to rest and feel at home, read, write, walking distance from the lake (a good physical condition needed) and other forest experiences. Rohit cooks delicious food, takes you places on his bike or by foot, or by boat... wild animals spotted... Will definitely come back with all my family.

They should advertise the animals that live on the property! We met dabboo and Rocky and the cats Kuku and Sintu and it was a delight (They are completely non interfering unless you're interested in hanging with them and we were). We were fed very tasty food made by Maya and the room has an excellent view. It is a great spot for the lazy and active alike. We saw many many birds just staring out of the window and the snow capped peaks were visible too!
