Inom gångavstånd ligger den vidsträckta vackra stranden som sträcker sig från Stenshuvud till Åhus. Stugan ligger en kort bilfärd från såväl Kivik som Åhus. Från våren 2025 har vi 4st nya fina cyklar i stugan som kan användas av gästerna. Goda fiskemöjligheter finns i närheten i bl.a. Helge Å. Militäranläggningen Ravlunda skjutfält finns en bit bort men den är stängd under hela sommaren och det pågår ingen verksamhet. Under andra perioder kan det höras ljud och smällar från skjutövningar.

Stugan ligger helt själv på en udde. Det finns ett sovrum och en bäddsoffa . El finns och alla bekvämligheter som fullutrustat kök, kyl, frys , spis och tidsenlig inredning . Inget rinnande vatten utan vatten har man på dunk. Avlopp finns i köket. Det finns förbränningstoalett men ingen dusch.
