Had a great stay here for two nights. Amenities were great and we especially loved the kitchenette and hot tub. Bed was comfortable. Very easy to get to the ferry to Skye which is what brought us to the area.

This was our favorite stay of our trip to London and Scotland. The apartment is on the top two floors with a wrap-around deck on three sides, offering views of Loch Ness and the surrounding hillside. The kitchen has a large Aga stove, which is perfect in the winter for heating and drying out clothing from rainy adventures. The whole Abbey looks like a Harry Potter movie set, which tied into our other stops on the trip. We used the game rooms at night, and it was a quick walk down a path to town. A real person checks you in and gets you all settled, which is great because we were a little concerned about how to find our unit. This stay was everything we love about an AirBNB over a hotel.

What an amazing place! Beautiful, quiet, in the middle of nowhere but within half an hour of the best shellfish ever (Arisaig), a supermarket, the ferry at Mallaig and the Glenfinnan Viaduct. The nature in this area is almost too beautiful to describe. Lush green mountains, beautiful lochs, white (and some empty) beaches, forrest, all we were looking for. The apartment itself looks exactly like what it is, part of a manor. A small but cozy kitchen (with a double oven in which we made a roast dinner), good beds, great shower and a big living room with coaches and sofas and a wood burner for chilly Highland nights. We (a family of four plus dog) loved it!

The apartment was perfect: luxurious yet cosy, very well appointed and in the best location, overlooking Loch Ness. The surroundings are breathtaking, we walked part of the South Loch Ness Trail and the Great Glenn Way, both well signposted and well maintained. It was a great short holiday, many thanks.

This place is quite special: the Apartment is in the oldest Part of the converted Abbey. It is very large, nicely furnished with extremely comfortable sofas and beds and has a very nice kitchen and bathroom. But this isn‘t all, there is the swimmingpool, gameroom etc. that you can use - even though the place was pretty full we hardly saw other people and did not hear anything from them in the flat. The absolut greatest thing about the place is it’s location right on the Loch Ness, tranquill and beautiful.

We had to find somewhere very last minute in the evening and found this place. The host was very quick to respond and allowed us to book last minute so we had somewhere to stay for the evening. We will be back when up this way, the area is beautiful and the flat was clean and well accommodated for stays

If you really want to experience the Isle of Skye in all its grandeur, this is the place to do it! The drive to Waternish is gorgeous, rolling hills to your right, the water to your left. The house fits right in - walking into the light filled kitchen will make you gasp, I’m sure. The house is simply beautiful with everything you could need or want - five burner range, chefs table etc. The beds were comfortable and all of the rooms look out over the water. The highlight of the area for us was the Stein Inn pub - oldest pub on Skye. Great whiskey selection and terrific food. When planning your trip, make sure to secure a reservation at the Loch Bay restaurant. A Michelin starred experience we won’t soon forget. Both are right down the hill from the house. Make sure you stock up on groceries before you get there as there’s not anything available locally. I really loved the guidebook with all the itinerary recommendations. This a really special place!

Fantastic hosts with a great welcome, fresh flowers everywhere and a visit from Sara to see if we were OK. The house is amazing with so many great features but the views of the Summer Isles and beyond are simply stunning. Very comfortable house with everything you need.

Nothing will prepare you for the view from this place. The pictures in the listing are good but there’s no way to capture in pictures what it’s like to be here. Also, place was very clean and had the best beds and furniture etc. It is an absolute gift to get to stay here

The stay at Steph&Jordans beautiful studio was really great! The place is furnished and decorated with so much love and detail that you feel immediately at home. It was a peaceful place to stay and the perfect location for our elopement at Dunscaith Castle! Beautiful views, the pictures don’t do it justice!! Dorothy was more than accommodating, it was a wonderful experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Glenelg. The cottage was as described. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed the spectacular views from the garden and every window. Murdoch rang on our arrival which was lovely and we knew we could contact him if needed.

Property is very beautiful and peaceful. Dedicated parking spot and easy short walk to the studio. Clean and well decorated, very cozy in the rain. Nicholas was a great host, super responsive and proactive with a lot of wonderful recommendations. We loved our stay!

This place is great. It's cozy, colorful and really well cared for. We always look for a well stocked kitchen in an Airbnb, and this kitchen was very well stocked. Everything you need to cook a proper meal. Location is an excellent base for exploring the highlands. Clancy recommended a great local walk which we did, and it was lovely. Great spot!

Ich hatte eine wunderbare Zeit in der Unterkunft. Kris war sehr freundlich und bei Fragen immer zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft selbst war genau wie beschrieben und die Leute in Fort Augustus waren ausnehmend hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich. Ich komme gerne wieder!

The Old Covent is a wonderful place to stay in ! Our hosts were wonderful and very welcoming. Everything was perfect and very nicely furbished. I highly recommend you take the time to stay there !

We are just back home after a short break in Lochaline. It really is a beautiful apartment with an amazing view across the water to Mull. The house was fully accessible with parking right outside the door, all on one level and an easily accessible shower. Very much needed for me as I’m disabled and it can be so hard to find suitable places to stay. The house was very clean with a great selection of utensils and supplies like fairy and dishwasher tablets. I highly recommend a stay at Lesley’s place!

We absolutely loved stopping here we felt so comfortable Chris and felicity greeted us on arrival they were so helpful went through everything in the apartment they gave great advice on where to eat and what to go see there was a welcome file with lots of information about the history of the area restaurants and things to see and do with great directions. leaflets in the draws of things to do it’s in a perfect spot to explore. The Apartment was very clean extremely well decorated (felicity you have great taste in decor) and spacious the kitchen was well equipped if you want to cook (we didn’t ) it’s about 8-10 minutes walk to the main resort if you want to eat and drink out same distance to do the Loch Ness for the cruise. Bathroom was spacious and very clean same with the bedroom the bed was very comfortable. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again thank you for having us Chris and felicity From Steph & Steve

It is really convenient to able to charge the EV overnight & get on your next day visit in the surrounding area. We love the mountains view & we have enjoyed our stay.

This was by far the best Airbnb we have stayed in and in a perfect central location to explore the beautiful highlands. Felicity and Chris could not have been more friendly and being local to the area have a vast knowledge of things to do. Their passion for the restoration of The Old Convent was amazing, a very interesting couple to speak to.

We had 2 nights there on impulse to celebrate our wedding anniversary. But what a holiday it was! The self catering flat, a self catering annexe, is such a fabulous place to stay! Flat is well appointed, quiet and spacious, and the kitchen one of the best equipped that I've come across. The bed was super comfy (which I can't say for all beds we've slept in). We have only positive things to say about our stay in Ballachulish: scenery outside the window is just stunning; cycle ride around Loch Leven (just over 20 miles) in gorgeous surroundings was ace, and to cap it off, we also had a row on the Loch with Glencoe Boat Club.
