Bed & breakfasts in Snowdonia

Loved my stay at the Grove House. Emma is very kind, cooks a delicious breakfast and makes sure everything else is well looked after. I enjoyed our conversations and she has good hiking recommendations which proved helpful to me. The place has a very friendly feel and access is easy. The room is very well kept and pretty in decor, the location is very convenient for access to the village center, I was there for 2 nights and will definitely come again!

I booked this on behalf of my mother who actually stayed. She could not fault Catherine and her hospitality. 5*s all round! Great welcome, spotlessly clean house and room and a delicious dinner. Catherine went above and beyond to ensure my mother was super comfortable. Really great place to stay!!

Gwen made us feel very welcome. We had a very relaxing couple of days with the hot tub finishing it off perfectly. Everywhere was nice and clean and the breakfast was amazing with fresh fruit, cereal and a hot choice too. The house is central for the whole of Anglesey and Snowdonia.

Terris and Ken were very friendly and really helpful, their place is lovely.

John and Steph are a hard-working couple doing their best to provide an exceptional stay for everyone! We were not disappointed and The Tower is steeped in history! We stayed in the front tower room, which was grandiose with enormously tall ceilings and with a lot of character. The breakfasts were amazing too! All in all we really enjoyed our stay and our visits out to the Welsh countryside… Thanks very much for looking after us so well 😊

Suzanne gave us a very warm welcome to her impeccably clean, spacious airbnb. It has a small kitchen with a microwave which we found useful and is in a good location for visiting Church Stretton and surrounding areas. We would visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay with Anne and Richard on their dairy farm. Such a lovely location and a beautiful home. Our room was roomy, pretty and comfortable. We felt so very welcome and quite at home. We would highly recommend staying with them.

We had such a lovely stay at Heather's bed and breakfast! There were four of us – two adults and two kids – and we all felt incredibly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The house is in a private location just off the road. Although it's nearby, we were not disturbed by any noise at all. Heather greeted us warmly and made us feel completely at home. My son even kept calling her "grandmother," which says a lot about the kind and comforting atmosphere she created. Breakfast was delicious and filling – a great way to start the day! Heather and her husband took genuine interest in our road trip and personal stories, which made the experience feel even more special. To top it off, they kindly washed our dirty clothes and had them dried for us by morning – such a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. When we accidentally left our chargers behind, they messaged us right away – just minutes after we left. Thank you, for such a warm and memorable stay. Highly recommended.

Beautiful views and wonderful conversion and our first Welch breakfast. We wish we could have stayed longer. The large house was so interesting with all the little period antiques and attention to detail. They also have a beautiful while horse that adds to the view! It was an overall wonderful time and we might be back if we are in the area again.

This place is just beautiful, idyllic and peaceful. Annette greets you with a welcome fit for a VIP, full of energy, homemade Welsh Cakes and a fabulous cup of tea. Following a warm introduction to Robert and the two main players of the weekend Dilly and Magic we were shown to our room which is quintessentially perfect and inkeeping with the magical surroundings. The room overlooks the estuary, with the most enchanting view across to Harlech, with the comfiest bed and the nicest linen. The bathroom is fully equipped and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is freshly cooked and a choice of cereals, continental, full English or all three. Annette's homemade marmalade should be snapped up by Tesco, its fabulous. Everything about this beautiful home is fabulous, the Hosts are great, the location is amazing it's a little corner or heaven tucked away in a secret part of Wales where only the select few can find it, So it won't be spoilt for our Grandchildren. The house was lovely and spacious, had a very old world vibe, but also managed to be extremely modern as well. One thing that stood up to me was how spectacularly amazing the shower was. Alice and Dave are really good people, extremely chatty and friendly. Amazingly outgoing as well. The bedroom was comfortable, spacious, and overall a nice place to be. Plus the snacks were a nice touch as well. :-)

Sometimes you come across a little gem of a place that really does stand out as being in that superior class of Airbnb's. Siri & Gwyn's lovely home, Bryn Haul fits that description to a tee. With amazing landscaped gardens this beautifully designed old cottage oozes with charm with a modern day mix. Spotlessly clean with endless amenities at your disposal. Siri who trained at the Manchester School of Ballet and elegantly glides around the house as though she still has her ballet shoes on. She shows a true interest in her guests and is a very interesting and beautiful lady. Gwyn is a fountain of local knowledge and is more than happy to help you in any way that might make your stay as enjoyable as possible. His charming disposition makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive. Thank you both.

I had a lovely stay at Cate's place. It was cosy, comfortable, felt very private and had lots of nice touches in the room. It's also a beautiful area for walking straight from the door. Cate was very welcoming and helpful, I would happily return again.

We had a very pleasant stay at Viv's vegan B&B on our round trip through Wales. The room is very nicely designed and furnished. Everything looks very harmonious and the view of the sea is beautiful. The room is very quiet. We felt very comfortable. The accommodation is close to New Quay. You can go on a dolphin watching tour from there. The vegan breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. Viv is a very warm host. Thanks for everything.

Perfect! The most comfortable bed and pillows ever. The bedroom was absolutely lovely and had everything I needed. Location was perfect.

Lovely house, quiet and beautiful surroundings. We appreciated the conservatory as a living space that served many purposes: chilling, eating, reading and admiring the gorgeous landscape. Tea, coffeemaker, toaster, microwave provided and we made good use of all. Please note, there is no TV, shower gel or shampoo exactly as described so we have not expected any. A fabulous base for exploring the area.

This was a perfect place to stay to go hiking up Snowdon. The food was great and the atmosphere was very relaxed. It was also very nice to have breakfast included with your stay.

This lovely garden apartment was obviously put together with love. It was beautifully decorated with lots of lovely touches - fresh flowers, very tasty home made biscuits and bread, good quality bed linen and lots more. The garden area was a delight to sit in and listen to the birds. It is in a good location for visiting Chester Zoo and Chester itself. Oscar was the perfect host, meeting us on arrival and making sure we knew what was what. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property and would certainly book again should we ever visit this area again.

If there were more than five stars to give I’d happily do so! Julia and Tony aren’t your average Hosts, they are super dooper hosts! Our entire stay was absolutely lovely. From the home baked cookies we received on arrival, to the best bed and bedding we’ve ever slept in we can’t rate Stoneleigh highly enough! The house is beautiful and gloriously renovated; we were made to feel part of a very comfortable home. All of Julia and Tony’s recommendations on where to go and places to see, were perfect for us, we brought our road bikes and spent three days exploring the countryside. We ate like kings and enjoyed the whole experience. We’d recommend Stoneleigh and Julia, Tony and Love Dog to everyone!

Rooms all spotless clean, breakfast was amazing and plenty to choose from. Bed was extremely comfy and the hot tub was amazing. John was also very welcoming and extremely polite.
