Earth & Aircrete Dome Home

Creative, unique and cozy. This dome is made from aircrete and is finished with clay plaster and an earthen floor. It is a piece of art in every respect and is sure to inspire. It has everything needed to cook food, be warm and sleep deeply as well as nearby hiking and skiing trails leading to rivers and cliffs. It is heated by a wood stove or electric space heater and has a outdoor composting toilet and a shared indoor bathroom. Come enjoy the only dome of it's kind in the whole country!

Welcome to Edgewater. Our garden suite is a completely private,separate suite. Guests have their own private entrance. Overlooking gardens and lake, you may enjoy spectacular sunrises and moonscapes. Listen to loons call as they locate one another on the lake. The suite has a comfortable sitting room, with dining table, and equipped kitchenette ( toaster, microwave, coffee press, kettle), ( there are no cooking facilities). Off the sitting room is a cozy bedroom, and private bathroom.

Excellent spot for a quiet getaway in the woods! This is a recently renovated cottage with the most amazing view of Third Lake. Four bedrooms, six beds. 1.5 bathrooms. Included is the use of 2 pair of snowshoes, fire pit, bbq. The kitchen was recently renovated. Only 1.15hrs from downtown Halifax and still within HRM. Directly off a quiet paved, plowed road! Newly built in 2021 as a place to hideaway in nature. Set on a private wooded 9 acre lot with lake access to Powers Pond. We have two Kayaks available for use. There are many walking trails on the property for you to explore nature! The contemporary and rustic features of the cottage highlight country living in Herring Cove Village, just 15 minutes to the city of Halifax. Stay put and relax in the hot tub or Herring Cove has hiking, sight seeing, ocean views, and local places to eat.

Safe Haven by the Sea

You won’t want to leave this charming, peaceful place with the beauty of nature all around you. This 3 bedroom cottage sits in front of the Harbour which provides protection from the open sea. It is a quiet relaxing place to unwind. Enjoy sitting on the deck with your morning coffee or by the fire pit in the evenings. The Port Bickerton Lighthouse is 2 km away and offers trails to a beautiful sandy beach. Historic Sherbrooke Village (a must to visit) is 26 km away.
