Countryside house from 1888 with lake views. We offer a spacious upper floor. The bedroom has lake views and a fireplace. Livingroom with good views of the lush garden which you have acess to. Fully equiped kitchen which also has a fireplace. The entrance is shared with the hosts, who live downstairs. You dispose the whole upper floor yourselves. The surroundings offer great nature; lake with beach 150m walk away, forests and archipelago. Stockholm is 37 minutes away by train from Vagnhärad.

Holiday home close to beautiful lake

Only one hour’s drive by car from Stockholm (35 min from Stockholm Skavsta Airport) you find this calm and relaxing place where peace of nature is easy to find. Perched on a small hillside where the wind rarely blows this house offers a serene getaway. Go for a swim at the lake just a few hundred meters away or just relax on the spacious deck. The place is equally beautiful in winter when you can curl up with a book by the fire or connect with nature from the veranda.

Relax with the whole family at our peaceful bohemian paradise in the heart of the beautiful Swedish countryside close to lake Mälaren and the picturesque summer town Mariefred yet only 50 minutes from Stockholm. Great public transport service. Parking for at least 2 cars. Surrounded by forests and beautiful fields it offers the simple and relaxing living we all crave so much. Welcome to this picturesque cottage built in the 19th century and renovated in 2018, with it’s old charm well preserved. It's situated just outside of Nävekvarn – a small village in eastern Södermanland. Our location offers a closeness to both the Baltic Sea and forests of Kolmården. The cottage is around 45 m2 large and consists of a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room.

Fridlunda, een huisje midden in het bos bij Högsjö

Het huis ligt middenin het bos, het is er heel stil en rustig. Perfekt om even weg te zijn van de hectiek van alledag. Er liggen 3 meren op 20 minuten loopafstand en er zijn meer dan voldoende mogelijkheden tot wandelen, fietsen, mountainbiken, zwemmen, varen, motorrijden etc. Mountainbikes (2), open kano’s (2) en de hottub zijn beschikbaar tegen betaling.

Sheets, towels and cleaning are not included in the price, the guest bring their own and clean the cottage before leaving, unless other agreement is made with the host. The guest bring their own firewood. Bags can be found at the local petrol station. Washing machine.
