The home was beautiful and very comfortable, we were able to unwind and relax, the ocean was beautiful.

Es war wirklich super. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer war ein Traum. Nachts stand sogar ein Reh auf der Wiese. Ausserdem ist es sehr nah um nach Victoria zu kommen. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen! Danke

Gail's House is a beloved family getaway filled with quirky and interesting marine and nautical pictures and gadgets so lovingly collected. It's very comfortable and right on the dock and the views are amazing. Lucky for us, we were there in prawn season and our hosts gave us the best prawns we have ever had, fresh from the water. I want to return.

We enjoyed Gleb’s airbnb spot. The RV was perfectly situated and provided the privacy that we were looking for. The RV was surrounded by nature and had a beautiful fire pit that overlooked the lake and mountains across. The RV itself had all the amenities you would expect in renting an airbnb. Gleb’s instructions was very helpful.

We had a fantastic stay - right on the ocean with beautiful sunrise and sunset views. The jacuzzi overlooking the water was enjoyed by all. The kitchen is spectacular with everything you could need and the living area is very nice. The full wall of glass windows and sliders with the wrap-around deck was great. The heated floors were an unexpected, but welcome surprise!

Had a great stay at Daughin’s place for a fishing trip. Would def return!

Had an incredible weekend at the Boathouse. We booked the space impulsively, intrigued by the unique location and it exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully decorated with the interesting history of the area thoughtfully displayed. We initially had reservations about the level of privacy given that its located by an active marina but the space was thoroughly tucked away. Walking on the small beach below and along the path above, views into the Boathouse were obscured by the greenery and well-thought location of the windows. The private deck facing the water was a sanctuary - we spent a lot of time just sitting and watching the water, cooked dinner on the BBQ, ate meals outside and even used the space for some morning yoga. We fell in love with the surrounding neighborhood, taking many walks around ans dream of living there ourselves one day. James/John were quick to respond to our messages and were incredibly friendly and helpful. I'm already thinking of when I can return.

We loved staying at Deanna’s. The resort was excellent and the kids had a blast. Lots of games in the unit, kitchen was well equipped for 2 adults and 3 kids under 12. Beach was great and when it rained, the heated indoor pool and games room was amazing!

A beautiful, very clean apartment in a wonderful location. The only wish would be is Air conditioning but large fans were provided and that was very nice

The condo was lovely. Great coffee shop/bakery and Italian restaurant in neighborhood. Easy check in and zero instructions required for check out which was a nice. Highly recommend this place!

Highly recommend! We stayed here as 5 adult siblings for 4 days. Check in was easy, plenty of parking (even with my large truck), exactly as described, beds were comfy, even the Murphy bed in the wall. View of the bay and sea planes, walkable to everything. Shower pressure was great and plenty of hot water to go around for the 5 of us. We had a wonderful time!

We travelled to Vancouver Island over Easter week for a family getaway. Deanna’s Good Life House was the perfect place for us. We had two couples, my 14 months old grandbaby and me. The baby equipment was much appreciated as it saved us having to haul extras on the plane. We used Shawnigan Lake as our home base for the week as we explored parts of Vancouver Island. We also enjoyed the pickleball courts, beach, pitch and putt, playground and kayaks at the resort. This is a lovely part of the island and is a peaceful and relaxing location. Thank you Deanna for being such a helpful and responsive host!

We stayed for a week over Christmas and it was truly magical! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy cabin in the woods and a perfect location for all kinds of bucket list hikes in the area!

cavans place was perfect for our group of 4 nice and clean kitchen has everything you need. we enjoyed the fireplaces and playing pool and watching hockey cast to the large TV. my crew were happy with the place and having their own bedroom. cheers Billy

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, it felt like a true escape. The weather was perfect and we spent hours lounging on the beautiful deck, basking in the sunshine while listening to the soothing sound of the roaring surf. The views were breathtaking, and we were even lucky enough to spot eagles soaring above us—a truly magical experience. The cabin itself was the perfect retreat, offering everything we needed and more. John was welcoming and thoughtful, checking in to make sure we had everything to make our stay comfortable. One of the highlights was the master bedroom, which had an incredible view. Waking up to the sight of the ocean and the sound of the waves crashing beneath the window was an experience we’ll never forget. We also took long walks along the beach and explored the nearby waterfall, which was so peaceful and rejuvenating. This stay has by far been my favourite place to unwind, and we will absolutely be back.

We found ourselves in town for a family service and Fiona was the utmost kind and supportive host we could have found. The space was absolutely perfect, spotless, serene, and comfortable. It was exactly as described and made a difficult trip much more easy, especially being by the beautiful ocean. We saw a ton of wildlife so the speed limits are absolutely necessary. Thank you Fiona, we will surely be back in the future.

The home was just as advertised, clean and quiet with beautiful views.Easy to find and access in a nice neighbourhood. Alex was very responsive in answering any inquiries. We felt at home during our stay and would recommend it anyone.

Beautiful location on the lake! We lucked out with amazing weather so we could enjoy the fire pit in the evening & coffee on the dock in the morning. The house had everything we needed!

This place was perfect; everything was exactly as described and the suite was cozy and comfortable. The surrounding parks were wonderful for walks and runs, and I thoroughly appreciated my stay; I would come back here anytime!

Gorgeous spot and amazing view. Very isolated so if you are after quiet and tranquil beauty, this is the place for you. The bathroom was huge and the bed was super soft.
