They couldnt have been better hosts. when my son felt sick Bruce sent feel better wishes. Very friendly. Will help at a moments notice. pool was clean. restraunt great. just a peaceful quiet relaxing place. have been there 2 yrs in a row and will return again. Thanks Bruce!!!!

Great experience to sleep in a Tipi. We even woke up and saw a couple deer as we got out of the Tipi. The best part of the stay was the host who was so helpful and friendly. We received some great suggestions from the host on what we could see on our drive. Very helpful.

Great camper and super easy communication with the owner. He had it all set up for us at the campground which made things so easy for us. Would definitely rent again if I’m in the area!

The directions to get there were very easy to understand. I had trouble finding exactly where I was supposed to park when I got there, however, the stay was pleasant overall.

We stayed here during our trip exploring badlands National Park. The camper was in a great location for exploring. It was only a 20-30 minute drive to the national park and only 40 minutes to Wall SD. If you love camping this place is for you. It was quiet, peaceful, and had beautiful surroundings! Lately, Jacob was great with communication and even brought us more propane for the camper to keep up with hot days we were having for AC!

Host were very kind and flexible with us arriving a little earlier. It’s a great spot to be, 15 minutes from rapid city and in between Mount Rushmore and the badlands. The RV was very nice and spacious. Would stay again!

My husband and I were traveling across country and this was the perfect place to relax and get a good night of sleep. There was much land for our dog to explore and get some energy out! Would highly recommend!

Words can’t describe the awesome feeling it is to wake up surrounded by nature, hearing the birds singing. Our teepee stay was fantastic. Our host Marla was so amazing, her hospitality is so great she made us feel so comfortable. I highly recommend booking this adventure. It will be a memory that will last a lifetime.

I loved this place. It was my ideal version of glamping. It had a great comfy bed and lots of blankets to keep warm. There is no heat so if it’s a really cold night it might not work for some people but I was perfectly comfortable even though it was a 45 degree night.

Our experience at John’s was so perfect, we don’t know where to start. The amazing tents with perfectly comfortable beds and bedding, the deck with fire pit, the thoughtful snacks and supplies, or the amazing outdoor shower with plenty of hot water? The location was amazing for everything you want to do in the area. With only 3 sites, it was private and quiet. Minutes from Rushmore and Custer made it a great launching spot for day trips. John was always available with information about the area or for anything else we needed. We stayed several days and could have easily stayed a week comfortably. Will definitely be going back. So much more to explore in the area.

Alicia was a great host. We felt right at home. They were very welcoming the entire stay. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone! We plan to return.

Great hosts! We felt right at home and were very comfortable finding what we needed after long days exploring the black hills, nature, and wildlife.
