Lodge on the Lake is a luxurious property located in a very special position right on Lake Windermere within the Lake District National Park. Enjoy uninterrupted views across the Lake towards the mountains from the privacy of the Lodge. The Lodge has a private setting within the 5 star Fallbarrow Park which offers that special break. It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the fire lit. An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Please note- We no longer have a hot tub.

Scandi Sky Hut a stroll from Windermere’s Lakes

Cosy up in the Scandi Sky Hut and look up at the stars through the glass roof. Inspired by Scandinavian space saving, a king-size bed, ambient colour change fire, mini fridge, coffee station, entertainment systems, and en-suite with excellent double shower have been fitted lovingly inside this adorable wood-panelled cabin with added outside decking area. The Scandi Sky Hut & The Scandi Hut are nestled in our garden, with private parking & an easy 20 minute stroll from Lake Windermere.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay in the Western Lake District. There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep. The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.
