Pondside Barn

A beautiful and character 2 bed converted barn overlooking its own private pond and deck. With a large and open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen there is plenty of space to enjoy the beautiful Wittenham countryside. Pondside Barn comes fully equipped for 6 guests with hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave, nespresso machine, washing machine/tumble drier, fridge and freezer. In addition it also has super fast internet and a 42 inch smart TV with sound bar. Upstairs there are two spacious bedrooms. One has a king size bed and the other has a king size bed and two single beds. The bathroom comes with a full sized P shape bath with shower over, heated towel rail, vanity sink and toilet. There is space for working and relaxing. The outdoor deck overlooks the beautiful pond (with resident Moor Hen family) and comes with a table and chairs for 6 allowing a great area for outdoor dining and enjoyment. A large BBQ is also available and a fully lit canopy over the deck ensures a great space to enjoy the evening. Pondside Barn comes fully equipped for up to six guests with bedlinen, towels, toiletries and refreshments available to ensure you enjoy your stay. Included for you in your stay is a Nespresso coffee machine with a selection of pods together with a cafetiere and fresh coffee. Tea, milk, sugar and olive oil etc is also there for you. Pondside is also equipped with luxury East of Eden toiletries including Lemon Blossom and Bergamot Shampoo together with Grapefruit and Sweet Orange Shower Gel. Handwashes are also available. The Barn is situated in 4 acres of gardens close to the Thames side village of Long Wittenham and close to the renowned Wittenham Clumps. Late checkouts until midday are also available at a charge of £25. Payment is taken at the time of booking, but an honesty jar is available for bookings via Airbnb or Booking.com Well behaved pets are very welcome and there is a fee of £15 per pet per night. If booked directly this is paid at the time of booking, but an honesty jar is used if booked via Airbnb or Booking.com. They are very welcome to stretch their legs in the shared garden. There is a woodburner available, in addition to the central heating in the barn and we would advise guests to bring some logs if they wish to have a fire. There are, however, kindling and log bags available in the barn at £10 for both bags. Just pop the money in the honesty jar. Many local walks are available and you are close to the local amenities in Wallingford, Dorchester and Clifton Hampden all linked by the Thames. Oxford centre is only 15 minutes away. Parking for several cars is available adjacent to Pondside Barn. Didcot Parkway station is less than ten minutes away and less than 40 minutes from London Paddington. Transfer to the station can be arranged.

Small self-contained annexe

Enjoy the best of both worlds! Easy access to Oxford (5 miles)or Abingdon (4 miles), or to explore the Cotswolds. Tucked away in a quiet no-through lane in rural Old Boars Hill. Great walks and cycle rides from the door. A car is essential. Small self-contained annexe, attached to the main house, with own entrance from side of main house. Entrance hall, one main bed-sitting room with table for eating/ working, own shower room and kitchen. Use of EV charging point by arrangement. There is no TV.

A peaceful rural retreat

"A recently refurbished self-contained annex in the midst of beautiful Oxfordshire countryside. Close to the Chilterns, the pretty market towns of Thame and Watlington and just 20 minutes drive from Oxford. There are excellent walks and numerous pubs and restaurants with delicious food and warm fires. The property is a separate annex from the main house and is perfect for a relaxing break. It has a sitting area and kitchen, a bedroom with beautiful views, a superking bed and a modern bathroom.

Secluded River Thames Lodge with Spectacular Views

Herons is totally unique, a beautiful detached lodge situated on the banks of the River Thames. Beautiful interiors and the views are simply wonderful from sunrise to sunset. Herons is the perfect place to unwind and relax, just sit and watch the wildlife and the boats milling along the river. Nearby are the Thames Market towns of Wallingford, Henley and Abingdon and the beautiful surrounding countryside.The historic city of Oxford is only 8 miles away and Bicester Village is a 30 minute drive.

Private house in beautiful countryside

The house is in the heart of the beautiful conservation area of the village surrounded by open fields and brooks. There is a small waterfall a few steps away and lots of footpaths through the fields and woods allowing guests to take refreshing walks. This is a quit and idyllic place ideal for those who love nature. The neighborhood is very friendly and villagers feed the ducks here. The village is close to Milton Park, Harwell, Didcot and Oxford, Frilford Gold Club and Drayton Park Golf Club.

The Old Barn , Organic Residence, outside seating

2 x king size organic bedroom-en-suites, with off street parking, great base for work or vacation, my Italian cousin Angelo, calls it " Tuscany in the Chilterns " home to "Midsummer Murders" ,"Wind in the Willows" and Agatha Christie's, "Miss Marple & Poirot mysteries", 200 year old country barn two fields from the Thames, beautiful views, and one of a few areas in the UK where you have hills and valleys and a navigable river wrapping around them, encircled by picturesque riverside towns

Our annex is in the heart of Oxfordshire a perfect space to unwind and relax. in a beautiful area of the village surrounded by fields and brooks. close to all amenities and Williams, Grove Technology park, Milton park, Harwell, Didcot, and Oxford, Frilford golf club and Drayton park golf club. with a 7 minute walk to the bus stop offering direct route to Wantage, Didcot and Oxford. If it's retail therapy Oxford (27 mins) has lot's to offer including the fabulous Bicester Village (33 mins)

Beautiful , Oxford House, parking, EV charger

Our beautiful, very spacious Victorian town house is situated in a lovely quiet road favoured by academics and creatives. We have 4 large double bedrooms, spacious living spaces and parking for 2 small/medium cars. We include crisp white linens and towels which are high temperature washed and the house is deep cleaned. Vibrant East Oxford has some of the best restaurants and cafes. We are a short walk from Magdalen Bridge, the Botanical Gardens, punting and the historic city centre.

A Perfect Pad in Pangbourne!

The house was 'created' in 2020 having originally been part of the village pub - its now part of a redeveloped property which also includes the owners home and a fabulous cafe called Artichoke Cafe The property is right in the heart of the picturesque riverside village of Pangbourne with its fabulous specialist shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Yet only ten minutes walk gets you to the countryside! The village also boasts a mainline station with direct trains to London Paddington.

Luxury self-contained annexe on the edge of the Chilterns, situated in the peaceful countryside which can be enjoyed from the hot tub, yet only 5 mins to the M40, 15 mins to Oxford Park & Ride & 15 mins to the station with trains to London taking 45 mins. Located in the historic centre of Haddenham, the annexe is a bright, contemporary self contained studio room with private access and parking. Moments away from pubs, the award winning Norsk cafe, shops and amenities, it has everything you need on our doorstep. Haddenham & Thame train station is a 15 min walk away making it a perfect location for visiting Oxford, London or shopping at Bicester village, whilst the picturesque market town, Thame, is just 3 miles away.

Gorgeous Cottage in Skirmett with Parking

This gorgeous 3 bedroom cottage, is in the quiet village of Skirmett, situated in the Hambleden Valley, in a particularly pretty area of the Chilterns. Many films and TV series have been filmed in the area, as it is often thought of as quintessentially English.
