Vakantiewoningen met sauna in South Somerset District

We stayed in apartment 38 for a week in July 2021. It exceeded my expectations and the pictures do not do it justice (the pictures make it look a bit dated but it really isn’t). It is a lovely 3 bed apartment - very clean throughout. The bedrooms and bathroom are on the first floor and the stairs lead up to the living area and kitchen! The kitchen comes with a fridge, dishwasher, cooker and oven. You also get all your basic cooking utensils and dishes alongside cleaning products including dishwasher tablets. One thing I would suggest is taking some tupperware to store your food in or if you want to make a picnic. The description also stated they provided cooking oil - but there wasn’t any - so it’s worth taking some if you want to make a full english in the morning. We ordered a Tesco online shop which was delivered straight to the apartment without any problems. Note, the pools (indoor and outdoor) are not heated so can be quite cold. The indoor pool area is a bit tired looking with the paint peeling off the floor - but the kids still had a fab time. The gym is also well equipped with weight and cardio machines…but again some of the padding on the machines are a bit worn. Overall we had a fab time, the views are amazing. Meadfoot beach is literally on the doorstep and the town is only a 15min walk away. Paignton beach (10min drive) is great for the kids if you want a bit more hustle and bustle i.e. Pier with arcades and fairground. Also recommend The Inn on the Green for lovely pub grub - they are directly opposite the Paignton pier and the staff were fab too.

A four night stay for a short family break over Easter. Everything you need is available in the Apartment. We are frequent visitors to Torquay so to have the flexibity and ease to user AIRBNB meets our requirments. Osbourne Hotel has some great facilities, Swimmimng Pools, Bar and restaurant, with very friendly staff. Would denfinately revisit and use 'Des' and AIRBNB again. Thank you.

what a lovely place to stay. safe, secure, spacious and lovely hosts. they are so friendly and could not go further to be of help with anything. Warminster shops are 8min drive away. Longleat safari is 10mins away and the pub at the top of the road, is very friendly. ring before to check how busy they are as we couldn't get food. thank you so much Nick, Liz and Charles

Des is an absolute legend. We booked this last minute and the speed of his response was equal to the speeds of a peregrine falcon. The place was flawless and we had use of wonderful amenities including but not limited to the tennis court (Harry lost) and outdoor pool. This place is an absolute bargain.

Aaron had made sure we had everything we needed including phone chargers which came in handy. The flat was very spacious, homely and well located. As a host Aaron was quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall a great stay.

Lovely little spot on the edge of the moors, sauna and swimming pool are a 1min walk from the flat, but are fantastic and well maintained. The hot tub is excellent, not as private as you might think :) and takes a bit of love and attention to heat up, but worth it! Flat is small and homely, perfect size for a couple!

This is a lovely flat. If anything it looks better in reality than in the photos. It's a very good location - it's a 15 minute walk into the centre of Torquay and 15 - 20 minutes walk in the other direction takes you to restaurants in Lisbourn Square and Wellswood. There is also a good restaurant onsite in the hotel and a couple of minutes away at the Meadfoot Bay Hotel. There are plenty of walks to do locally. Also no car parking problems. Highly recommended.

The photos didn't do this place justice, it was beautiful . It was so quiet and relaxing and Tony and Rosemary were quick to respond to anything I asked, I would definitely stay here again

Overnight stop in Cardiff for an event, this flat was ideal. Quiet location so no noise to disrupt sleep. Tony couldn’t have been more helpful. Would happily stay there again in the future

The location was within walking distance of most of the places we wanted to go. Having off-street parking is an absolute bonus in Exeter, and having room for 2 cars was fantastic. The proeprty has been modernised, itwas clean with good natural light and was excellent value. If we require accommodation in Exeter again, we would be trying to book here again

Thank you Gayatri & Peter! What an amazing place! The apartment was very comfortable, spotlessly clean throughout and equipped with everything we needed. Complimentary coffee pods, tea and milk on arrival were much appreciated. Gayatri was very informative and responsive to messages. We made very good use of the heated swimming pool, hot tub and sauna and enjoyed complete privacy the entire time. The location is superb, very quiet but not too far from the supermarkets. We enjoyed days out to the nearby Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge and Wells during our short stay. Our only regret is that we didn't book for longer! We're already planning a return trip. Highly recommended!

Stayed for the Surf lifesaving comp at Branksome, apartment was good, everything we needed, location would be great for town, high street round the corner with places to eat.

I very much enjoyed my stay. The property is in an idyllic location. The peaceful atmosphere made for a very relaxing few days. Agnes always responded to any requests and I would love to return sometime in the future.

Such a great property. The house itself is very nice, spacious and thoughtfully put together. The pool, sauna and sauna are amazing. Would thoroughly recommend.

Just wow! we have just come back from 4 fabulous nights away staying at this gem of a place! it was exactly what we had hoped for! Little Staddles is beautiful! From the location to the attention paid to the architecture and decor! And the hot tub and sauna simply the icing on the cake. Lovely weeks in the local area, we did so many steps from the property into Lyme Regis, via the micro brewery a definite must! Claire was a great host, really responsive and even dropped round some tea bags in the evening after we forgot to get some in town! would highly recommend for a peaceful weekend break away from the hustle and bustle!!! we will definitely be going back! thank you for ab awesome time!!!

This has to be the most eclectic house we have stayed in as a family, but it provided constant entertainment and sparked imaginations. There is lots of room inside for 9 people a dog and a baby. The separate dining area and sittings rooms allowed people to be together and have private time. The garden area available was small for a large gathering but Barry was willing to open up further garden to us on asking. The sauna was a nice touch. There were enough bathrooms and the kitchen was equipped and functional The house is old as it says in the descriptions so if you have difficulty climbing stairs it would not be for you. The layout and contents of the house are not toddler friendly. There is no onsite parking, but the car park is a short distance away. The village is quaint and the coop very near by. We can recommend the tea shop, and would recommend booking early is you want to eat in the pub next door. There are lots of walks nearby and buses to other villages.

With so many choices, it's always hard to pick but this is a great choice. Don't think any further book. The place is within walking distance if the beach, stores, restaurants and more. The place is super clean with everything you need in the kitchen to make meals, easy to find, easy to get in, beds are comfy, bathrooms are great, backyard is nice to have with kiddos and the view is amazing. Finally, the host is super helpful and responsive. the airlines lost our luggage so they were helpful with where to go, how to get clothes washed etc. Thank you

The mobile home was clean and tidy and the children loved the toys. The amenities on the site were great! We had a lovely family holiday and would definitely go back!

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful, peaceful home! It was the perfect getaway—spacious, spotless, and incredibly dog-friendly, which made it even more special for us. Anita and Martin were amazing hosts—so welcoming, accommodating, and quick to respond to any questions we had. A big thank you to Martin for setting up the BBQ and sauna for us—it was such a treat and made our stay even more relaxing. There’s so much to do in the area too, we were never bored! We can’t recommend this place highly enough and would definitely love to come back!
