What an incredible place to experience! Booking was super easy, and the hosts were amazing — incredibly informative and helpful both before and after our stay. The views and scenery are absolutely breathtaking, making it perfect for families or couples looking to unwind, relax, and soak in the stars and fresh air. This house was excellent for our extended family gathering – the kids loved the table tennis room, the oldies loved the view, and we all loved the direct access to the beach. Thank you, Jill, – your communications were great, the house was spotless, the beds were super and the setting made this a gathering we will all remember, even though it was for Great Grandma’s funeral.

We loved our holiday at this air bnb. It’s so close to the Pacific Ocean, you can see it & hear it from the house! The house is full of character and is well maintained by the owners. We loved that we could bring our dog. Highly recommended!

Really beautiful place to stay and just a few steps to the beach! So grateful to be able to take our dogs with us. Absolutely every thing you need and more. Modern furnishings and great art work. Our dogs went straight for the treats left for them and we were left some really yummy fresh bread and eggs, and cookies. Very clean and comfortable Thankyou!

Cosy bach on beach, Raumati South, Kapiti Coast

We loved the location and the view from the deck is really very special. We so enjoyed our early morning walks along the beach. The bach has everything you need for a short stay, the bed & sofas are comfortable and the mini kitchen is well equiped for its size and there is an excellent BBQ. You can walk to Four Square for basics and/or a couple of cafes for coffee or lunch. We were appreciative of the milk, coffee, tea and biscuits.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was comfortable and clean. Waking up to that amazing view was the perfect start to each day, and it was equally lovely to relax in the evening with a cozy fire. The location was fantastic for exploring the nearby nature spots. We highly recommend this place!

Perfect little 1bedroom, very spacious with two decks for entertainment, lots of lawn space for kids to run around, beach views are amazing from the front patio. Sunsets were absolutely beautiful. And the kaimoana never disappoints here in Tora 😊 🎣 🦞 Wish we had booked for longer, next time 👍

Kakapo Kabin - prime location.

I had a great stay at Kakapo Kabin! Rebecca's instructions were super easy to follow and I was grateful to arrive to a warm, cosy room after a long day travelling. It was lovely and quiet, perfect for returning to after a day of catching up with friends. And so handy to the beach and Raumati village too. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Rebecca!

Beach bach Raumati South

We loved our stay, lovely kiwi bach feel. And it was so close to the beach!, just a few steps! We loved the beach view from the window, and enjoyed walking along the beach to get to the nearby cafes. Would definitely stay again, and would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing beach break.

We loved our stay over Easter weekend. The house was perfect for a group with everything you need and spacious. The location is amazing with beautiful ocean views overlooking Kapiti island. We were so lucky with the weather and could sit out on the deck and watch the sunset, and in the mornings eat breakfast with a view.

Beach Holiday with Superb Ocean and Island Views

We spent Xmas and new year here. The house has a great outlook over Kapiti Island and there is a comfortable homey lounge with a nice indoor/outdoor flow. The Pohutakawa’s next door were in bloom. We had the grandkids over and they loved the spa pool. There is a mezzanine off one of the bedrooms with an awesome amount of Lego. So, heaven for kids to go up there and have a bit of a play. Huge selection of board games etc and Texas Holdem poker was a hit with our crew. The oven takes a bit of a fiddle and a couple of go’s to get the hang of it. The driveway can be a challenge. We were mainly here to catch up with family, but enjoyed some of the local sights , including the car museum and the Barry Hadfield Nikau forest. Carolin is responsive and overall a great time was had by all.

The house is in a beautiful location right by the beach with stunning views out over the sea. The rooms are large and bright with all the comforts you need. I would highly recommend it if you want to stay somewhere peaceful and away from the crowds.

less than 5 mins drive from beach. Quiet and is a home away from home. lovely cafe around the corner. close to all kapiti coast beaches and short commute to Wellington. great kitchen with all the utensils and good BBQ. Beds were comfy. highly recommend a stay here.
