Vakantiewoningen aan het strand in Sri Lanka

Mimis kleines Paradies (eigentlich eher riesig) hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! Die Bilder auf Airbnb sind schon toll, aber in der Realität, ist das Anwesen noch viel schöner! Die Architektur ist beeindruckend. Haus, Garten und Pool bilden eine perfekte Einheit. Überall gibt es schöne Plätze die zum verweilen einladen. Wir waren zu siebt auf Sri Lanka Tour und der krönende Abschluss, waren die 4 Nächte in Mimis Haus. Dank Kapila, Manjula und Raja konnten wir unseren Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genießen und einfach nur entspannen! Die drei Herren sind super freundlich, liebenswert und hilfsbereit. Manjula hat uns landestypisch bekocht, köstlich, authentisch und nur ein kleines bisschen scharf. Zum Glück. Vielen vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Nayan's villa is even more beautiful than on the photos! The view over the beach and palmtrees is fantastic and the pool water is warm enough at all times of the day. We appreciated the various outdoor seating spaces as well as inside under the fan. It's very quiet & private apart from occasional fishermen trucks working on the beach. We have also really enjoyed the caretaker Martinez who tended to our needs every day, including bringing us coconut. We also made use of Pradeep's cooking and enjoyed having local food delivered every day to us to the villa. There was also lots of attention to detail, including beautiful flowers around the house and a fresh water tank, so that we wouldn't have to buy water in advance. Shower gel and shampoo was provided. We experienced a power cut once in the week we stayed for around 4hrs. Battery powered lamps and fans are provided for this case. Thank you Nayan, Martinez and Pradeep for a fantastic holiday! We can definitely recommend this place!

The location of the house was absolutely stunning. Right on the beach which was empty and felt like our own was dreamy, peaceful and idyllic. Lakmal, Dulan and Nihal were so helpful and attentive to all our needs. The breakfasts and dinners Lakmal made every day were absolutely stunning! We had so much variety and a real taste of Sri Lankan cuisine. They looked after us so well and arranged tuk tuks for us when we wanted them. It’s worth taking toiletries as these weren’t provided but honestly i would absolutely recommend this house as a great base to do a morning safari and enjoy the peaceful surrounds. Great value for money!

Really kind and generous hosts who couldn’t have been more helpful and nice. Would recommend to absolutely anyone and I would like to thank him and his family for such generous hospitality!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bianca's place. Everything was so easy and the place is amazing. Bianca and her team were very good communicators and responsive. We spent a lot of time walking on the beach and swimming in the pool and exploring the area along the coast, which was exactly what we wanted (and one big highlight of our trip!) The breakfast provided was great - fresh fruit especially! And we also used the laundry here, which was easy and really nice. We tried many of the restaurants nearby and had a good experience - delicious food! We would love to come back here on our next visit to Sri Lanka. High recommend!

Мы провели здесь месяц – это почти идеальное место! Интернет идеальный для работы, в т.ч. с видеозвонками. Удобная кровать с новым матрасом. Ванная комната – восторг! Туалет и душ отделены друг от друга, а горячая вода – это действительно горячая вода в безлимитном количестве и с великолепным напором. На кухне есть все, кроме турки для приготовления кофе, но это мелочь. С собаками мы подружились и часто играли. Они действительно лают, но только когда кто-то приходит, что в нашем случае происходило очень редко. Хозяева – прекрасные люди, общаться по всем вопросам было легко и приятно. Между нашими и соседними апартаментами нет шумоизоляции за счет тонкой двери в смежной стене. Мы сняли и эти апартаменты тоже и использовали их как отдельный рабочий кабинет. Когда на виллу кто-то приезжает, слышно абсолютно все, что происходит на улице в любое время суток. В любом случае моя оценка 10 из 10, потому что все перечисленные плюсы с лихвой компенсируют несущественные недостатки. Спасибо!

It was one of the most wonderful vacation trips. We had a vacation with my husband and two children aged 11 and 16. The owner of the Dharshana house is a magnificent man. He was always in touch and answered all questions. The house is located almost on the shore of the Indian Ocean in 1 min walk. All the amenities were available. All necessary household appliances are present in the house. Especially the washing machine helped us out, as children often dirty things and they could be quickly refreshed. Dharshana and his wife were very kind and welcoming. In addition, they organized a trip for my family to the elephant nursery and the nine-arch bridge, we visited the highest waterfall and got acquainted with monkeys. The children were delighted. Our family has become friends with Dharshana and his wife and we continue to communicate. We are glad that we have friends in Sri Lanka and we will definitely come back to them again.

È stato un soggiorno semplicemente fantastico. La villa è fantastica, attrezzata, vicino al mare e il personale è molto disponibile. Consigliatissimo a tutti, adatto a famiglie e amici. Siamo stati seguiti e ogni nostro desiderio si tramutava in realtà. Perfetto!

We had an incredible three-night stay at Sahan’s villa in Weligama—honestly one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The location is perfect: just a short walk or quick tuk tuk ride to amazing surf spots and great restaurants. The villa itself is stunning, with a beautiful pool that was perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The interiors were spotless and thoughtfully designed. The air-conditioning worked perfectly (a real bonus in the Sri Lankan heat), the beds were large and super comfortable, and the bathrooms were modern, clean, and luxurious. Housekeeping was top-notch throughout our stay, and the check-in and check-out process couldn’t have been smoother. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free stay in Weligama.

Nilaveli è un posto bellissimo, il resort con vista mare è proprio davanti alla spiaggia, si può fare il bagno in mare tranquillamente e comunque c’è una bella piscina proprio vicino alla spiaggia. Un giorno abbiamo fatto una gita in barca a Pigeon Island che è proprio davanti e abbiamo fatto snorkeling. Anche se i coralli sono danneggiati dall’alta temperatura e dallo tsunami c’erano moltissimi pesci meravigliosi e in molte zone i coralli stanno rinascendo. Il nostro appartamento era molto comodo e spazioso con aria condizionata e ventilatori al soffitto. Raccomando questo soggiorno a chi è amante del mare e della tranquillità. Ghazzali è stato molto gentile e disponibile.

Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist beeindruckend und bietet viel Platz. Direkt vom Pool aus kann man zum Meer gehen und die Ruhe am Strand genießen. Im Meer baden kann man leider nicht, da die Strömung zu stark ist, allerdings hat uns das überhaupt nicht gestört, da es den Pool gibt und wenn man möchte kann man in ca 1km Entfernung im Meer baden gehen. Dort haben wir auch Schildkröten gesehen! Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

We had an amazing stay at Indie’s house! The host and the staff in the house makes you feel right at home. The breakfast in the morning is homemade and delicious. The house, garden and pool were cleaned daily. The host offered lots of info on activities, restaurants and arranged our transportation. The house is spacious, well decorated and has everything you could need. Right on the beach, you can hear the waves from your bedroom. Will definitely stay there again :)

Wunderschön renovierte Villa direkt an einem einsamen Strand gelegen. Nach hinten raus somit mehr als großartig .Wenn man bis zu Nase in den Pool eintaucht ,verschmilzt dieser mit dem dahinter gelegenen Meer 🤍.Sie liegt aber direkt an einer Straße und wenn man im Garten ist ,hört man dieses auch.(Hat uns aber nicht sonderlich gestört.Bei uns hatte aber ein Geschäft auf der anderen Seite eröffnet und der beschallte uns einen Tag mit vielleicht etwas lauter Musik 🙈) Wir nutzten die Villa am Ende unserer Reise um etwas zu entspannen. Daher ideal für uns gelegen und somit nicht schlimm,dass die Gegend touristisch nicht ganz so erschlossen ist. Morgens wir ein inkludiertes Villa Frühstück angeboten und wir hatten Barbecue und Curry bestellen können. Die Jungs waren immer extrem freundlich und quasi auf „Knopfdruck“für uns da.Sie sprachen zwar kaum Englisch ,dafür war der Manager der Villa ,Sampath,immer per Handy erreichbar und extrem hilfsbereit. Wir können die Villa sehr empfehlen .

Das Haus, der Garten einfach traumhaft! Die Küche ist etwas klein, aber alles da, was man so braucht. Der "Gärtner " hat für uns am Abend mal was gekocht, super lecker. Die beiden Wachhünde😂, zwei liebe anständige Schmuser, haben uns jeden Tag freudig begrüßt, unsere Kinder wie auch wir hatten mit den beiden richtig Freude.

Located in Rekawa beach (near Ranna) about 10km from Tangalle, this isolated, oceanfront villa is the perfect getaway - I can't recommend it enough! The pictures do not do this place justice. Hans was responsive and helpful. The house staff were attentive and hospitable and we took advantage of paying for local food and having the staff cook for us during our three night stay - an incredible value based on local restaurant prices (and yummy too!). There is a restaurant closeby if you prefer that. The house is very large; the back yard and pool area spectacular; and the beach access great. You can also have the staff schedule multiple day trips to surrounding areas so this is a great base for exploring the southern coast. Highly recommended!

Fantastic place, beautiful pool and gardens. So easy to flow right from living area to pool. Not right on the beach but access very easy through adjoining vacant property of same owners. Staff super attentive. Lovely village of Ballapitiya only 5 mins walk up a quiet lane way, with a multitude of eating options. We loved this village as we seemed to be the only tourists, locals genuine and friendly.

Es war ein Traum! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und konnten uns super entspannen. Unsere drei Jungs haben den Pool genossen und die Nähe zum einsamen Strand war das besondere Highlight! Das zubereitete Frühstück war so lecker und die Leute waren sooo lieb. Dank Amith, dem sehr liebenswürdigen TukTuk Fahrer und seinen wertvollen Tipps und Empfehlungen hatten wir immer einen perfekten Aufenthalt! Vielen Dank für die unvergesslichen Tage!

An incredible stay! The accommodation was fantastic—stylish, comfortable, and set in the perfect location with stunning views over the water. We loved that it was just out of the main strip, offering peace and privacy while still being close to everything. Communication was excellent throughout; the hosts were responsive and helpful. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Super endroit,belle maison,je dirai plutôt bel appartement,il n'y a plus de table en exterieur .cependant la décoration,l'agencement,la climatisation,la literie sont excellentes,modernes et très agréable. La cuisine et les salles de bain sont de très bon niveau très pratiques et de bon goût Je recommande ce logement de part sa situation géographique et son agencement moderne et très déco .La famille est très accueillante et fait tout pour rendre service.

We recently stayed at this stunning villa and couldn’t be more impressed. Waking up to this breathtaking view every morning was such a pleasure The villa itself was very stylish, and has all the necessities for a good stay, including even some funniest like boarding games :) It is very good located closento Welligama and Ahangama (5-10 minutes drive with Tuk Tuk), right close to the outstanding restaurant the Cliff. The host was very responsive and helpful with all our questions We had a very good time there and would definitely like to come back and soak this energy again

We had a great stay at Azeers and Leann's place! They were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our time as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The accommodation itself was spacious, beautifully furnished, and very well equipped — the kitchen had everything we needed, including a washing machine, which was a great bonus. The location was perfect: just a few meters from the beach, yet quiet and secluded, offering total relaxation. We would definitely love to come back!

Trincomalee hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Und die Villa an der Dutch Bay war sicherlich der Hauptgrund für das tolle Erlebnis. Wir waren bloss drei Nächte da, hätten es aber gut länger ausgehalten. Die Villa bietet viel Platz, grosszügige Räume, einen tollen Garten mit Pool und Privatsphäre direkt an sagenhafter Lage. Morgens kann den Fischern beim gemeinsamen Einziehen des Netzes zugeschaut werden oder direkt ins warme, erstaunlich saubere Wasser hineingesprungen werden. Auch mit Kindern bzw. gerade mit Kindern oder in einer Gruppe sehr empfehlenswert. Das Schnorcheln am Südende der Bay machte sehr viel Spass (noch relativ gutes Riff und eine grosse Anzahl verschiedener Fische). Auch die Delfintour von 6 - 8 Uhr, die wir für 20‘000 LKR privat gemacht haben, war das Geld absolut wert. Delfine seien zu dieser Jahreszeit meist da. Die Villa ist wirklich toll. Das Frühstück und der Service sehr gut.
