Ein perfekter Aufenthalt – absolut empfehlenswert! Die Unterkunft war genauso wie auf den Fotos – sauber, gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Lage war ideal, ruhig und dennoch gut angebunden. Besonders gefallen hat mir Zugang zum Strand. Raj war super freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos und unkompliziert. Besonders die beiden Haushälter/innen waren grandios. Die waren so freundlich und haben einen tollen Service angeboten. Vielen Dank nochmal an Mani & Kawshika Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen – vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!

our host Sepalika was just lovely. even before we checked in, starting from when I booked the house, she was messaged and kept in touch and was very responsive giving details about her home and all the information that one would possibly think would be necessary for the stay. we were a group of 7 and even though we checked in late we had a smooth check in and the house was just warm, cozy and so very clean. attention to even the most little detail for the comfort of the guests was amazing and the 2 caretakers of the house were very respectful disciplined and the utmost helpful to guests. we had very enjoyable lovely continental breakfast served every day which was included in the booking price. as we had late flight sepalika even allowed a late checkout free of charge. Overall it was the one of the most comfortable and enjoyable stays from our trip to srilanka.

We had six lovely days at the villa. It’s right on a quiet beach, and a five minute walk to see the turtles! Sunil’s breakfasts were amazing and he was always willing to help. Would definitely recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an Airbnb hosted by Ruwan, and it was a delightful experience. Ruwan was an extremely warm and welcoming host, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to both the beach and Coconut Tree Hill. The lush green property felt almost like staying in a forest, offering a serene environment. The breakfast provided was very good, with a variety of delicious options. The room was a bit small, but it didn't affect our comfort during the stay. Additionally, Ruwan offers to help plan activities in and around Mirissa, which could add a lot of value to your trip. Despite the minor detail about the room size, the stay had its positive aspects, particularly Ruwan's hospitality, the excellent breakfast, and the beautiful surroundings. This Airbnb is a great choice for travelers looking for a welcoming host and a beautiful location.

I have wanted to stay at this property for years, and I'm so glad we finally got the opportunity to visit! A beautiful, thoughtfully decorated home where your backyard is literally one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. A great place to stay with kids. Location is central with lots of amenities close by (if you can drag yourself out of the ocean). We were treated to a delicious breakfast every morning in the courtyard. The house manager Kasthuri was fabulous and helpful. Kian & Janah are clearly experienced Air BnB hosts, and communication was great. Would stay again!

We had a lovely one night stay at Maya's apartament. She and her huseband were very friendly. She helped us arrange a great driver to Nuwara Eliya and she cooked an amazing breakfast. The apartament has everything you need. It is located up the hill and we had a nice walk down to the town but we took a tuk tuk for our way back because the streets are pretty steep.

Wir hatten 3 wundervolle Tage bei TrincoMo! Das Airbnb war tip top sauber und gepflegt. Wir wurden sogar mit einem Dinner begrüßt und uns wurde jeden Morgen nach Belieben Frühstück zubereitet. Es gab reichlich Tipps für Trincomalee und Umgebung und wir standen mit Sahana immer gut in Kontakt! Absolute Empfehlung! :)

Dilan is really a great host. He helped us a lot even before arriving and responded to any questions we had. Very helpful, he arranged our transfers and motorbikes and helped us with everything, even brought us food. The villa was incredibly nice and clean, we love our stay in his place, we felt like home the entire time and I recommend it! ❤️

So, you’re obviously looking for accommodation in south-west Sri Lanka – well don’t look any further than Sailor’s Bay. From the minute you enter this paradise, you will be welcomed and charmed by Dilan and his family. The environment is gorgeous – any stress totally disappears. Nothing is too much trouble. They are engaging, and genuinely go out of their way to ensure that every second of your stay is a second to remember. Our family (13 – 3 generations – ages 2 – 74) was continually astounded by their willingness to do the best by us . It was a sad time when we left, but happy in the knowledge that we will return. So, take my word for it – Sailor’s Bay will not disappoint even the most pedantic traveler.

Located in a less busy, on a hill and a more local area but walkable distance to the main road, public transportation, Uber, pickme, supermarkets and restaurants. Totally sweet, friendly, professional and kind hosts. They warmly welcomed me and my wife to the property and helped carry our bags to the apartment upstairs. We instantly felt like we were at home. Apartment is modern, newly built and squeaky clean. We loved the view from the balconies as well as from the rooftop. Nobody bothers anybody and we thoroughly enjoyed our privacy here. Everything was included in the apartment for a comfy stay. Air-condition was excellent and there was ample hot water in the bathroom. It will be nice to have a duvet/comforter because it can get chilly at night. The best part is the pool which was so refreshing during hot days. It was clean and well maintained, almost felt like a natural pool. Our stay was excellent and would love to come back. Thanks for hosting us. Good luck guys.

Eine sehr entspannte Unterkunft und super gemütlich. Sie ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Der Strand ist direkt hinter dem Garten und ein paar Gehminuten entfernt gibt es ebenfalls einen schönen Strand mit weniger Steinen beim Einstieg. Saskia, Chethanas Freundin, war super lieb und freundlich und hatte sehr viele Tipps für die Umgebung. Ihr Frühstück war sehr lecker und sah zudem auch wunderschön aus. Wir können die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen und würden wiederkommen.

I was in Colombo for work, followed by a vacation with my family. Romesh's place was perfect for my 2 weeks of work in Colombo. The apartment is centrally located close to several restaurants. Romesh and Janak were very responsive throughout my stay. Check in was very easy and Janak welcomed me and oriented me to the place. The apartment is very well maintained with AC in all the rooms, and a good WIFI connection. The kitchen is well-equipped with a fridge, microwave and all the implements for cooking and eating. The location is secure and I had no concerns about safety or security. Hotel Janki is close to the apartment and I had several meals there and use of the swimming pool for a small fee. When I am in Sri Lanka, I normally stay in my own house, which is currently rented out. Romesh's place was as good as staying at my own house. Thank you.

If only you could leave a bonus star on Airbnb. We felt fortunate for the opportunity to stay here. Truly an amazing place with a very friendly host. Highly recommend

Incredibly kind host family. They were always helpful, gave us a ride into town and organized a scooter for us. We used the home stay to explore the Ella region. While Ella is super touristy, the town of the Airbnb is very genuine and we loved the hustle and bustle. It is a separate apartment with a separate entrance. You’ll have everything you need including 2 bedrooms, 2 new bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room and terrace overlooking the property.

Nous avons été agréablement surpris par cette paisible maison entourée de verdure, un jolie jardin et piscine accessible jusqu’à la tombée de la nuit. Le cadre est vraiment mignon, mieux que les photos de l’annonce :P . Hôte très accueillant qui à l’arrivée vous donne des recommandations de lieux et restaurants, plages accessibles à 2mn à pied, vraiment bien situé. Bon rapport qualité-prix, on recommande !

Es war der schönste Aufenthalt in 3 Wochen Srilanka. Es war ruhig und wunderschön. Wir hatten Zimmer Nr 3, welches offen zur Natur war und es hat uns sehr gefallen. Lova und Lee haben uns super herzlich aufgenommen und haben uns total wohl gefühlt. Wir haben uns einen Roller ganz unkompliziert ausleihen können über einen Bekannten und das hat Spaß gemacht die Umgebung zu erkunden. Die Hunde waren total lieb und es war uns eine Freude ein Teil von Ocean Eye zu sein. Absolute Empfehlung 💓💓

Jagath is one of a kind. He was such a welcoming host and always had a good balance between being helpful and supportive without intruding your own space and plans. If you are interested he can explain a many things about this part of Sri Lanka. He has huge knowledge about history, traditions, food, plants and also current issues. Also the whole estate reflects his interests with a beautiful garden, historic artefacts and an excellent cuisine, we are still missing. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

Everything was fantastic at Lilu’s! The place was clean, comfortable, and offered a stunning view. Breakfast was exceptional—truly one of the best I’ve had—and Lilu was an incredible host. She even arranged a personalized tuk-tuk tour for me to visit the waterfall, Nine Arches Bridge, tea factory, and Little Adam’s Peak. I was so impressed that I hired the same driver the next day to take me to Udawalawe. The location is within walking distance to the city center, which is super convenient—but I’d recommend bringing a flashlight if you’re walking at night, as some areas can be quite dark.

Wir hatten eine super schöne Zeit in unserer „Dreamtime Lodge“. Alles super authentisch, sauber & genau so eingerichtet, wie auf den Fotos. Eine tolle Auszeit im Dschungel! Das ganze Personal war super freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Unser Highlight war das tolle Frühstück. Alles sehr lecker, abwechslungsreich und liebevoll hergerichtet. Vajira's place is worth a stay when in Kandy. The room is very nice / super comfy beds and a great shower!

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt bei Anil, super hilfsbereit und unglaublich gastfreundlich. Leider gab es keine richtige Möglichkeit für Abend Essen in der Umgebung, wir hatten leider viel Regen an den Tagen bei Anil, da war es teilweise sehr schwierig am Abend (trocken) in die Stadt zu kommen. Am Tag unserer Abreise hat Anil aber wohl auf seinem Anwesen ein Restaurant eröffnet.

Had one of the best experiences at Sunrise palace, we missed our flight and needed a quick booking for a place to stay, I bumped into Sunrise Palace and instantly was booked in. I got to the air bnb it's in the inside street but once the gate opens it looks beautiful, the place is big, sleeps alot of people, extremely clean, balcony in the rooms, extremely clean washrooms, impeccable stay I had the service was phenomenal, the food was fresh and tasty, we all had the omelet and wow it tasted so healthy and gave us fruits and fresh juice, as well as water bottles. This place is just amazing and I will be back in March thank you so much !
