So, you’re obviously looking for accommodation in south-west Sri Lanka – well don’t look any further than Sailor’s Bay. From the minute you enter this paradise, you will be welcomed and charmed by Dilan and his family. The environment is gorgeous – any stress totally disappears. Nothing is too much trouble. They are engaging, and genuinely go out of their way to ensure that every second of your stay is a second to remember. Our family (13 – 3 generations – ages 2 – 74) was continually astounded by their willingness to do the best by us . It was a sad time when we left, but happy in the knowledge that we will return. So, take my word for it – Sailor’s Bay will not disappoint even the most pedantic traveler.

This is probably one of the most beautiful and highest quality apartments in all of Colombo. We have been coming to Sri Lanka since 2015 and have stayed in many places. Nicola's attention to detail and quality is unmistakable. If you have discerning taste and want a place that is artful, clean and full with high end decor and appliances this is the place. It costs more than many apartments but it's well worth it. The location is great! Within walking distance to excellent restaurants at Cinnamon Life Hotel, a grocery and a fabulous mall. It's also an easy walk to a nice beach.

This is my third time staying at Rehan's place. It's great. I'd definitely recommend to others. If I go back to Colombo, I'll try to stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at Umendra's place. Even though we arrived very late in the night, we were met by the assistant Budika, who was kind and helpful. Always had a smile.. We are very grateful for getting all (6 of us) our bags onto the luggage trolley...along with the reception security Brian...who was very welcoming and respectful. We appreciate these gentlemen helping us at that time of the night. Also the two sets of keys were very convenient for us. Pity we couldn't meet Umendra. A few suggestions to improve would be ...instructions on how to use the lights, fan & the AC. The switchboard system was a bit complex. Also the google map took us to another place. Just letting you know the address was not clearly identified by the google map. Apart from these, overall we had a lovely stay at this beautiful place.

Nous avons vécu une superbe expérience chez Roshan. Krijintha, notre contact direct, a été d’une grande réactivité. Merci infiniment pour leur disponibilité. L’appartement est facile d’accès, bien équipé et joliment meublé. La vue est superbe et l’environnement calme. La plage est à une minute à pied et des tuk-tuks sont à proximité. La cuisine spacieuse offre tout le confort nécessaire, les chambres sont grandes et les matelas très confortables. Le salon et la cuisine ouverte sont aussi très appréciables. Peut-être faudrait-il aménager le rooftop pour en profiter pleinement. Nous étions en famille et recommandons vivement cet appartement. Le personnel a toujours été réactif et a répondu à tous nos besoins, nous aidant à réserver des activités à bons prix et donnant de bonnes recommandations de restaurants et lieux touristiques. Nous avons passé des vacances magnifiques ! Merci à vous !!! Et à très bientôt 😊

Spent almost a month at this Airbnb,. Amazing place, the beach is just a few meters away and my family loved it. The apartment is well maintained and easily accessible. Very safe for families to stay. We just loved every minute of our stay. The host was very accomodative and responsive. I had an issue with the ACs, was fixed in almost no time. Vila din Galle, Sri Lanka, a fost o adevărată bijuterie! Punctul forte al acestui loc este, fără îndoială, curtea uimitoare, un spațiu plin de viață unde am avut șansa să întâlnesc diverse animale, precum maimuțe curioase care au adus un farmec aparte șederii mele. Camera a fost confortabilă, curată și bine întreținută, oferindu-mi tot ce aveam nevoie pentru a mă relaxa după o zi de explorare. Personalul a fost excepțional – mereu amabil, atent și gata să ajute cu orice cerință sau întrebare. Combinația dintre ospitalitate, curtea spectaculoasă și confortul oferit face ca această vilă să fie o alegere perfectă pentru oricine vizitează Galle. Recomand cu entuziasm!

The place is located right next to the river and provides great view from the hall and balcony. Host Mr.Lakshanth was wonderful and friendly and has maintained the place the so well - it's squeaky clean! Place is pretty close to the Kandy city area around 10mins drive to tourist destinations. Would love to visit again!

Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist beeindruckend und bietet viel Platz. Direkt vom Pool aus kann man zum Meer gehen und die Ruhe am Strand genießen. Im Meer baden kann man leider nicht, da die Strömung zu stark ist, allerdings hat uns das überhaupt nicht gestört, da es den Pool gibt und wenn man möchte kann man in ca 1km Entfernung im Meer baden gehen. Dort haben wir auch Schildkröten gesehen! Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Sunil 与他的Villa是我们本次斯里兰卡之行的最大惊喜。 - Villa位置极佳，连接海滩，在院子内即可欣赏蓝宝石般的海水，附近有多个美味餐厅，距离著名的海龟沙滩、椰树秋千均步行可达； - Villa设施齐全，三个卧室面积都很宽敞，配备了泳池、餐厅、厨房及各种配套设施； - Sunil的热情招待令我们惊叹，他提供了饮用水，为我们赠送了免费的、极具当地特色的早餐（本人亲自下厨！）。他还可以提供晚饭服务，他的厨艺水平超过了我们在斯里兰卡吃过的所有餐厅。此外，Sunil帮我们推荐协调了全部的包车、Safari行程，还热情地开车带我们在Galle城内游览。 - 此外，Villa的安全性也值得称赞，一名全职的工作人员24小时在Villa内，所有问题都能得到及时相应。并且完全不需要担心隐私问题，工作人员有独立的空间。 总之，在Sunil的Villa中的3天，是我们在斯里兰卡度过的最放松、最舒适、最惬意的时光。非常期待今后有机会再次访问！5星评价完全不足以表达我们对这里的喜爱，如果有可能，我们希望能给出10星！

Nayan's villa is even more beautiful than on the photos! The view over the beach and palmtrees is fantastic and the pool water is warm enough at all times of the day. We appreciated the various outdoor seating spaces as well as inside under the fan. It's very quiet & private apart from occasional fishermen trucks working on the beach. We have also really enjoyed the caretaker Martinez who tended to our needs every day, including bringing us coconut. We also made use of Pradeep's cooking and enjoyed having local food delivered every day to us to the villa. There was also lots of attention to detail, including beautiful flowers around the house and a fresh water tank, so that we wouldn't have to buy water in advance. Shower gel and shampoo was provided. We experienced a power cut once in the week we stayed for around 4hrs. Battery powered lamps and fans are provided for this case. Thank you Nayan, Martinez and Pradeep for a fantastic holiday! We can definitely recommend this place!

Ich war alleine unterwegs und habe ein paar Tage in dieser Unterkunft in Mirissa verbracht. Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr angenehm. Besonders die Lage ist hervorragend – ruhig, aber dennoch nah am Strand und ideal, um zu entspannen. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war in Ordnung. Die Unterkunft selbst hat Charme und bietet eine solide Basis, besonders für Alleinreisende. Allerdings ist die Inneneinrichtung schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Vor allem das Badezimmer hätte eine Auffrischung nötig: Die Dusche war etwas heruntergekommen, der Duschkopf wirkte nicht mehr richtig sauber, und der Toilettendeckel war leider kaputt. Auch die Wände wirkten stellenweise beschmiert, und der Wasserhahn am Waschbecken sah ziemlich ranzig aus. Es wäre schön, wenn in Zukunft einige dieser Dinge erneuert oder saniert würden – das würde den Aufenthalt deutlich aufwerten. Trotz dieser kleineren Mängel habe ich mich wohlgefühlt und würde bei einer entsprechenden Renovierung gerne wiederkommen.

An incredible stay! The accommodation was fantastic—stylish, comfortable, and set in the perfect location with stunning views over the water. We loved that it was just out of the main strip, offering peace and privacy while still being close to everything. Communication was excellent throughout; the hosts were responsive and helpful. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

A beautifully designed house, directly on the sands of a lovely quiet beach. Perfect for swimming, surfing or snorkeling! Views of the ocean can be seen from every room in the house. Our highlights were afternoon drinks in the pool, and champagne in the hot tub of an evening. The house is immaculate, and the staff are so attentive. The chef is fantastic, best meals we’ve had in Sri Lanka! The house is walking distance to great restaurants, cafes and the very popular ‘Doctors House’. Wish we could have stayed longer.

I have wanted to stay at this property for years, and I'm so glad we finally got the opportunity to visit! A beautiful, thoughtfully decorated home where your backyard is literally one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. A great place to stay with kids. Location is central with lots of amenities close by (if you can drag yourself out of the ocean). We were treated to a delicious breakfast every morning in the courtyard. The house manager Kasthuri was fabulous and helpful. Kian & Janah are clearly experienced Air BnB hosts, and communication was great. Would stay again!

Our stay at the Nest Residence,m was absolutely wonderful! The property was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to ensure guests feel at home. The attention to detail in the amenities provided made our experience stress-free and enjoyable. The location was convenient, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to key attractions. The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We highly recommend the Nest Residence to anyone and We’ll definitely be back in the future!

I stayed in the guest cottage on a lovely private (gated) property full of jungly trees, birds, and monkeys! Eva has built a paradise. It was wonderful to walk down to yoga a few times. Overall it's exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet (except for all the bird chatter, but that was lovely). Also the staff are so lovely and helpful and smiling. Just a reminder that there's no AC, and you are in the jungle so be obsessively clean in the kitchen (hello ants) and don't let the little lizards scare you. I named one Fred. :). If the wifi doesn't work, just find the wifi repeater and ensure it's plugged in, and ta da, the signal perks right up. Highly recommend.

Nilaveli è un posto bellissimo, il resort con vista mare è proprio davanti alla spiaggia, si può fare il bagno in mare tranquillamente e comunque c’è una bella piscina proprio vicino alla spiaggia. Un giorno abbiamo fatto una gita in barca a Pigeon Island che è proprio davanti e abbiamo fatto snorkeling. Anche se i coralli sono danneggiati dall’alta temperatura e dallo tsunami c’erano moltissimi pesci meravigliosi e in molte zone i coralli stanno rinascendo. Il nostro appartamento era molto comodo e spazioso con aria condizionata e ventilatori al soffitto. Raccomando questo soggiorno a chi è amante del mare e della tranquillità. Ghazzali è stato molto gentile e disponibile.

Had a really good stay at Shiffan's apartment on Marine Drive! The place was just as shown in the photos – super clean, with spotless linen and sparkling bathrooms. It’s easy to overlook the fact that it’s non-AC in the description, but the natural breeze and good ventilation made it quite comfortable. Shiffan is a great host – friendly, proactive, and always quick to respond. He also gave helpful tips and local recommendations that made my time in Colombo even better. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a neat, well-maintained apartment with a thoughtful host in a lovely location.

We had a lovely stay here. The place was very clean and comfortable, had lots of facilities. The view is also beautiful. There isn’t much to do within walking distance, however we booked here to relax and prepare for our flight quite close to the airport. Dr M was very responsive and an overall great host. I can definitely recommend this place.
