Spitskop Plaashuis With magnificent views over the valley towards the town of Lydenburg, Spitskop is ideal for guests needing to break away from the hustle of city life. This beautiful upmarket, semi double storey home offers a working farm experience with goats, sheep, donkeys and chickens roaming around. Although there is no fishing at Spitskop, this venue is perfect for hiking, cycling, reading, cooking and of course relaxing! Great fun to be had in the farm dam during those hot summers.

Riverbed Africa Guesthouse

The Guest House is on the Gold diggers pass and has beautiful views of private nature reserve (MACNR). The Spekboom River is a twenty-minute brisk walk from the Guest House. The first thing you’ll notice about the guesthouse is it’s spacious open plan kitchen, dining room through to the living room. There are three bedrooms. The master bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom have a double bed and the third bedroom two single beds.

Royal Wulff’s king bed and tidy sitting area are warmed each evening by an indoor fireplace, while the patio opens right onto the African bush and the dam’s distinct ecosystem. African Leaves Trout Lodge is regarded as an excellent fly-fishing location, is a part of the ‘Zuikerboschhoek Bewarea’ and is home to wildlife that frequents the mountain range. There is a natural waterfall and 2 km’s of natural river running through the forest on the property. There are two houses situated on the property - Oak House and Silo Lodge. We are pet friendly for up to 4 small to medium sized breed dogs, which must be well trained.
