Our stay at the Yellow Door was excellent! From the moment we booked, Mark was very communicative, and very helpful in offering food recommendations for us (Sultan Castle Indian was delicious). Mark gave great instructions for entering the property and when I had a question about the fire he responded immediately which was very helpful! All 3 bedrooms were great, with the bedroom at the front of the house having a beautiful sea view. The bathroom was very clean and modern, with clean towels provided in all rooms, with additional towels in the hot press. The enclosed outdoor area to the side of the house was a real pleasure for us. We utilised the hot tub whilst there (it does take a while to fill it and at least 8 hours for the stove beside it to give it good heat so get it on early!) The TV in the house was modern and allowed us to use Screen Mirroring for streaming apps, and the WiFi was good throughout. The location of the house and the host, Mark, made this a delightful stay! Ta!

The house is very new and has spectacular views with many windows and open plan in the common areas. The kitchen is exceptionally well appointed for groups that wish to cook any type of meal. The outside amenities are lovely and we made food use of the grill, pizza oven, hot tub and sauna. A perfect home to enjoy breakfast with coffee and game night or quiet time after a day of exploring the area. We would especially recommend the home to family groups as the house is large with lots of large gathering areas both inside and outside to enjoy each other’s company. Our granddaughter especially enjoyed the ground level trampoline, play equipment and playhouse.

We stayed here with our two sons and our dog. The house was so comfortable and cosy. The space was perfect and so well designed and maintained. The gardens were fab and very secure so the dog could potter around and we could leave the door open. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was easy to use. I’d highly recommend this house to anyone travelling this direction. As an aside, the local area is stunning. We completed many walks and many cafes etc were dog friendly so we could bring her inside which was so easy when the weather was bad. This is my new favourite location in Ireland as it was just so easy and every single person we met was so nice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house to friends and family!

We had a fantastic stay in the lodge. It was so cosy and beautifully done up. Gorgeous peaceful surroundings in the forest - a real switch off. Our kids loved the treehouses, padel court and trampoline. Jayne was a great host! We would love to come back again some time.

Everything was perfect, nice jacuzzi, very spacious house, everything what you need to stay included (pans, pots, cups..), very clean inside. One thing what wasn’t perfect was smell from cows farm which is very close to house (not whole day, just from time to time), if somebody don’t have a problem with that and like “country side vibes) I’ll say its 10/10 👍

The perfect house for a stunning family escape. The house was great for our family of 6 adults and 1 toddler, plenty of room for everyone with ample bathrooms. The house had stunning views and the added treat of a path to a private beach. Another added bonus was the selection of baby equipment available, it really made everything so easy. Alistair was a very helpful, friendly and responsive host, nothing was too much trouble. It really felt like a home away from home!

We had a fabulous stay at Audrey's house. The home is in the most perfect location. The stunning beach is 5 mins walk. If you're a golfer, the course is even closer! The house is very comfortable and spacious, exactly as shown on the pictures. Really well equipped. Crystal communication from Audrey pre-arrival which helped everything run smoothly. We spent lots of time in the pubs and restaurants in Dunfanaghy which were all great. We climbed Errigal and walked miles and miles on the fabulous beaches. We also visited the Shandon Spa. All in all, a brilliant stay - would 100% recommend Audrey's to anyone looking for a fabulous holiday in Donegal!

Better than the description! Photos don't do it justice. What a stunning home. Spacious, with homely touches like books and games, and notices left to explain rubbish, appliances (being Australian many things are different) and holiday suggestions and maps. Andy left milk and generous breakfast supplies, and many other touches. The beds were comfy, and the gardens and views were fantastic too. Thank you so much! I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Lovely cosy wee guesthouse, beautifully kept and made very welcoming with candles, snacks etc. couldn't have asked for a nicer place for my stay :)

Absolutely loved our stay at the Foothills Retreat in Gortin village. Apartment spotless and so homely with lovely extra touches which were so appreciated. Hot tub and Sauna an amazing bonus at this property, with robes supplied. Great wee pub opposite and superb food at restaurant below apartment. Five star all round.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Graham was so friendly and was there to welcome us and show us around the place, he even gave us a few good recommendations for where to go in the area over the weekend! Added bonus of an adorable, friendly cat and dog too! The place was lovely and clean, can’t really ask for much more.

The apartment was fantastic. It was immaculate & had everything you need for a family getaway. The view is stunning & we enjoyed sitting in front of the fire watching the ever changing view of the sea. Joanne was extremely helpful with the booking & checkin. The area is beautiful with lots to see and do including beach, hiking & eating out in Dunfanaghy village. Thank you to Joanne & Alan. I’d have no hesitation in recommending or staying again!

This place was absolutely beautiful - clean, bright, spacious, high quality and with truly spectacular views. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and take in the natural beauty of Donegal. The location was peaceful yet still close enough to explore nearby (Wild Ireland is a must see) towns and beaches. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Donegal, you honestly can’t go wrong with this place. We’d definitely love to come back - highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our visit to Sleepy Hollow. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Roy and Iris gave us a warm welcome, along with their beautiful friendly dog Shelly! One of the high points of the weekend was meeting them. The house and garden are amazing with so many thoughtful touches. I couldn't recommend the house more highly and hope we can visit again someday!

A long awaited return visit to Shoreline which was every bit as welcoming as before! Jill and Michael are consummate hosts, quick to respond to any query, offering early check in and late check out. The apartment was spotless, beautifully furnished with amazing attention to detail and unrivalled views. It was impossible to fault and the Prosecco, milk and crisps were thoughtful touches. We’re already looking forward to our next trip!

This place is just one hidden gem, second visit and brought my boys and niece this time, everything is just amazing, the kids didnt wanna leave .. neither did I... the host is super kind as well ... stunning place with lots of lake activity , bbq n firepit, just beautiful !!

Absolutely top class. We have stayed in the Dune before but not in the cabin, spotless and attention to detail is second to none. Will definitely be staying again. Thank you!

We had an amazing stay at Mark's cabin. Just a short distance from Bundoran, like 3 min drive and set in the most beautiful location with a clear view to the mountains. Very spacious cabin, big garden, the view outta back was absolutely spectacular, fully kitted kitchen that we loved - we cooked dinner and breakfast - pet friendly, comfortable bed. I wished we stayed for 2 nights, we'll definitely go back. I can't recommend Mark's place enough, we loved it so much!

Overall the stay was amazing although we couldnt order the weather for it, the cozyness inside was perfect for a special stay. Probably the best equiped rental we used through the years. Very well though out and everything there. Plenty recomendations and literatture for touristy and sight seeing spots nearby (Inch island, Buncrana and its beach, few forts and view points along the wild atlantic way - Greenan fort is a must for views) and all within 10/15min drive from the cabin. Dont say it easily but we would definitely be back here again.

It’s was great experience to stay at Joe’s house. House is well equipped and has more than enough amenities to spend few days. Location is amazing and definitely would recommend it.

The cabin is really lovely! Very simple but well equipped, it has bags of character and it was very obvious that Nic and Ian take really good care of it. I have an emotional attachment to the area and have always found the locals to be lovely. Some of them spoke highly of Nic and Ian. That says a lot for me🙂
