Sea forth was an absolutely breathtaking shack. We had the most glorious stay here and if we didn’t have a toddler in tow we would have left the shack refreshed and rested. In saying that , it was surprisingly easy to keep our toddler entertained in the shack and in Strahan in general. If you plan on cooking then best to get all the supplies you need in town so you don’t have to head back in often including oil ect. There aren’t that many good options in town. The coffee at the coffee shack was great though. I would highly recommend this air bnb and will dream of it on my return home I’m sure.

We had a lovely few days staying in Lettes Bay in this beautiful little cabin. The space itself was so tastefully decorated, free of clutter and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the friendly neighbourhood ducks. Strahan has a number of local attractions and Claire was extremely responsive with recommendations for our stay. A really lovely little AirBnB to explore the west cost of Tasmania! Would 100% recommend.

Fantastic house with everything you could need and more, including a fire pit with wood and plenty of board games. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and in a lovely quiet location. Even came with complementary sheep grazing in the paddock across the road.

The Launch Pad

We had a wonderful stay at the Launch Pad. It is such a great location in terms of being accessible to the eating options in Strahan. We spent our evenings sitting on the deck looking over MacQuarie Harbour watching the local birds and even spotting some dolphins. Beds were really comfortable and the house had everything we needed and was very clean. Would definitely recommend Launch Pad.

We had a lovely stay here. Mick & Prue were very friendly & gave us recommendations for things to see & where to eat. Our cabin was very clean, & great location. Easy walking to cafe’s & waterfront.

The Sailor is a yardarm ahead of the Captain - peaceful location- a home with luscious furnishings and well thought of added extras - cosy and warm, especially with the added option of a wood fire - a beautiful water view from the front verandah, sipping on a Tasmanian glass of red - an adjacent carport to park the car - it fulfilled all our needs - Thank you Lee, we have fully appreciated what you have put into the Sailor and the Sea, to make it a Home away from Home

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful house, and we couldn't be more thankful for the experience. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the great taste in decoration. The house is warm and cozy, making it feel like a true home away from home. We feel incredibly lucky to have found this gem. The location is perfect for trekking enthusiasts, with beautiful trails just a stone's throw away. We can't recommend this place enough. Thanks Lucy!

The Artist’s Cottage – A Waterfront Hideaway

A wonderful cottage, in character with its name and tranquil location. A slight mishap with the cleaning on arrival but the hosts got onto it straight away and were very professional about it. The ducks were a highlight. We would definitely come back to the Artist’s Cottage.

Farm stay at Lowana, Strahan

We had such a wonderful stay at this farmhouse! The host truly thought of everything, every little detail was taken care of, and anything we could have possibly needed was already there. Feeding the animals was such a fun and memorable experience, and relaxing on the veranda with Emmy the dog, snoring contentedly nearby was the perfect way to unwind. There’s no Wi-Fi, but there is Foxtel, which was great for a bit of downtime in the evenings. It was the ideal mix of comfort, charm, and connection to nature. Highly recommend for anyone looking to escape and recharge

We stayed in a lovely spacious house which really suited our family of four adults and an infant. Cot was provided for infant. Two bathrooms were appreciated when everyone needed to get ready. Choices for food were all close by. A great stay in Strahan!

We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay at 'The Shack'. Photos are true to reality. Kitchen is very well stocked which was great! Beds super comfortable and the whole quirky vibe was alive and well. 45 minutes to Strahan 10 minute relaxed walk to town two IGA's with friendly staff. Would we stay again? absolutely! We had a great time! thanks Tim!

Historic cottage with a very modern twist.

the house is in the middle of the small town. everything is walkable. easy to jump to the wilderness railway and it ia a great starting point for trips to nearby attractions. The house was clean and fit for purpose for a family with 3 boys.

The CRAYS accomms were perfect for us. We only had one night in Strahan but Mick had excellent suggestions for us that helped us out on our trip. The unit was spotlessly clean and spacious, great space for a family of 4 to settle in. The kitchen was well equipped and this would be a great place to stay for a week. The location was a short 7 minute walk to town and just 200m to Howarth Falls which was a beautiful rainforest walk. We would recommend this place as a very comfortable accommodation and great value for money. Thankyou.

Mick and Prue’s air B&B is everything you would want from a stay. Lovely hosts, couldn’t have been nicer and more friendly on check in. Clearly sign posted and easy to find. Gorgeous interior, comfy bed and fully kitted kitchen. So close to gorgeous views in Strahan, restaurants and the river cruise. Cannot recommend enough. Clearly people who are made to host! Only wish I had stayed longer!

This was a lovely accommodation with stunning views and beautiful surroundings. It was close to all experiences and restaurants. Watching the sun go down and waking up with a view was relaxing and a beautiful experience. We even saw dolphins in the harbour just outside the window. Thank you Andrea, we will return for longer next time.
