The Historic Garden Cottage

An historic free-standing building on our 12 acre property "Claremont" (c.1857), the Garden Cottage has been fully renovated to offer a unique place to stay in beautiful, peaceful and historic surroundings. The accommodation is totally private, with a queen bed, en suite bathroom and basic food preparation facilities (fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle). It has a split system for heating and cooling. The Garden Cottage is approx. 3.4 km to the heart of Castlemaine township, and is only a short walk to the lovely Botanical Gardens.

Enjoy fabulous views to the east from the lounge, bedroom and your private balcony across the town to Leanganook.

Set in the peaceful bushland of Fryerstown, Fryers hut is only 10 minutes from Castlemaine, 30 minutes from Daylesford and 5 minutes from Vaughan Springs. The cottage boasts magical views of the Clevedon Mannor gardens and is perfect for a romantic getaway, a peaceful escape or a hub for exploring town. Perfectly located, five minutes from Town and the Train Station. Clevedon Cottage is also a short walk to the beautiful Botanic Gardens, The Mill complex, Tap room and Des Kaffehaus. 

Dijon

Dijon is a small but charming, self-contained studio space with one queen sized bed, kitchenette, couch and table within that area. Set in a spacious garden it comes equipped with some breakfast provisions, cooking basics, separate bathroom area and outdoor garden seating. It is only a short walk to the Hepburn Bathhouse, cafes, and therapy providers or alternatively, bushland walking tracks.
