Venture into the Kouga-Baviaans Wilderness area to the comfortable Waboom Cottage on the beautiful farm Mooigedacht. The 36 km stretch of scenic gravel road is part of your holiday. Once here relax, do nothing, hike, cycle or picknick while spending quality time with family or friends. The well equipped cottage has electric blankets, gas heater and indoor fireplace/braai. A supply of wood and more to buy. The displayed minimum price apply to 2,3 or 4 guests. An additional fee p/p after that.

This stylish place to stay is perfect for a group of friends or a large family. Located on a farm nestled in the most beautiful valley in the Gamtoos valley. Space and more space. You can meander into the Yellowwood forest; keen birders can seek the Narina Trogen or Crowned eagle - or any of the 153 listed bird species, hikers can adventure any of 4 hiking trails, cavers can visit the well known Bats Cave, and the stressed can visit the Buzz Box, or you can just relax in total peace.

Fully self catering, 2 bedroom farm cottage, 1 double bed, 1 king bed/twin, each with en suite bathroom. Plunge pool, firepit, Wifi, aircon, indoor fireplace, barbecue. Linen & towels provided. 4x4 or high clearance strongly advised PLEASE NOTE THAT THE AIRCONS ARE PROVIDED FOR COOLING THE HOUSES IN THE HOT SUMMER MONTHS BETWEEN OCTOBER AND APRIL, NOT FOR HEATING AS THE FARM IS ON SOLAR. The Tradesman

The Tradesman Shop is a quirky and historic unit with a beautiful courtyard and braai area. It is the last Tradesman shop that is still connected to the main house and dates from the 1850’s. It’s still has the original “brakdakkie”-ceiling so don’t get a fright when a piece of historic dust comes loose from the ceiling. The large courtyard at the back is a treat. Please note the unit operates on a gas geyser.
