One queen and one twin bedroom, each with private en-suite facilities, a beautiful sitting room with full DSTV channels and open wood-burning fire place, a fully equipped kitchen and a very comfortable patio, with braai/BBQ facilities make this establishment ideal for both holiday makers and a midway stop between Cape Town and Knysna. Ideally located for several half and full marathons, cycle tours and hiking events.

Gem of Suurbraak - The Family Cottage

Life in the village of Suurbraak, at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains, poses a different charm to living on the other side of the river. The people are kind, helpful and friendly. Walking uphill with the mountains behind you, then turning back … the views of the mountain range is truly spectacular. The covered front-stoep with the “braai” at the end, is very convenient especially if the weather is not favourable.
