Huisjes in Suwannee River

My family was looking for a quiet weekend getaway and this lake house was the perfect place for us! The lake views from the living room were spectacular. The house was charming and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more! The peacocks roamed the yard throughout the day and were a pleasant sight to see. The dock was enjoyed by the whole family! We watched beautiful sunsets. My sons used the kayak. We fished for crappie and caught a few! We brought our small fishing boat and cruised around Lake Harris. We made our way to the famous Dora Canal. The boat launch is minutes away from the house. We walked to the delicious bakery a mile away for morning coffee and pastries. The host was so helpful and available to answer any questions we had. We enjoyed our stay at this charming and serene lake house!

Stephen was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and flexible as possible. He was proactive in letting us know that the check-in time was available sooner than listed. His keyless entry made it very easy to access his house and made it easy for all in my party to come and go as they pleased. His house was very clean and you could tell that as soon as you walked in the door. Everything worked well, his AC system provided arctic level cooling, his pool and hot tube was ready for use, his screened in game room was fun and actually stayed cool throughout the day, his outside gathering areas had plenty of seating, and his dock provided plenty of room to fish. This location on the canal was beautiful and easily accessible to St John's River. Definitely would stay here again and would recommend this place to anyone who wants a cool place to stay, relax and have fun. Thank you, Stephen, for your allowing us to stay at your house it was well worth the cost.

We’ve stayed at several places in this community over the years and this was definitely the best! Place was clean, the appliances were updated, and you can’t beat the proximity to the pool/clubhouse and the Lake views. Will definitely book again here.

Kathleen's home was wonderful. It was like staying at your fancy best friend's house who trusts you with all of her very cool, expensive gadgets. The pictures really do not do the home justice. She left treats for the humans and an Easter basket for the doggos. Very comfortable home and the CLEANEST AirBNB I have ever stayed in. Wonderful backyard area with plenty of comfortable seating and outside activities. I highly recommend Kathleen's home for your visit to Gainesville.

The family and I enjoyed our stay at The Poolside Cottage. There were plenty of amenities for the entire family to indulge in. Andrew and Melody made their home feel like “home away from home”. I definitely recommend 10/10.

The location was fantastic; when we got there, it even looked better in person. It had all the necessities and was a fairly roomy cabin/camper. A huge advantage was the patio and grill. We would definitely return; it's a nice pace for a quick getaway.

Very nice accommodations. Came to Gainesville for UF graduation. I booked early and was reasonably priced when hotels were inflated for this weekend. The home was Clean,Cozy, nicely updated inside, had everything you need. Very nice kitchen. Beds were Comfy. Would stay again or recommend to friends. Host responded quickly when we had a question.

Amazing home and view. So close to springs and other fun Florida spots. Perfect home for a relaxing weekend get away if you live in Florida! We will definitely be back! Thanks Ashley for your hospitality and wonderful communication!!!

This cottage met our needs perfectly for a 2-night stay with our lab. The fenced yard plus easy parking made the logistics seamless (and quick access to I-95 mid-way on our long drive was appreciated). The cottage is really cute with everything we needed. It’s walkable to the waterfront, and we enjoyed a day on Cumberland Island with convenient ferry access. We had no issues and didn’t need to contact Debbie, but we knew she would be there quickly if anything came up. And the value for the price - outstanding! We’ll stop here again on our East Coast travels. Thanks Debbie!

What a delightful find in Jacksonville! The house was lovely and the extra measures for comfort were so appreciated: blanket for the sofa, variety of teas, lots of towels Good workspace and great view while working! Sitting by the water in the evening was so relaxng and peaceful.

We had a wonderful stay here! The cottage has everything we needed - well stocked kitchen, linens, beach gear and bikes. It was clean, comfortable and being able to bring our dog along was a huge plus. We all loved the fenced in back yard and patio. The location was fantastic - a quiet neighborhood and we biked to everything - the historic district and Driftwood Beach were our favorites.

Had a great time at Laurie's cabin. Really enjoyed the fire pit, foosball table and my husband loved playing guitar hero. Added bonus was the kids got to see lighting bugs for the first time. Beds were comfy, cabin was clean and well stocked. Close proximity to great trails and Rainbow Springs. Not quite as private as I anticipated from the pictures as there was a tiny home right next to us and the canal was behind owner's home and not the cabin as I mistakenly thought. Overall still a great stay. Owner was very sweet and let the kids feed the chickens, gave our a pup a treat and left a 'smores kit for us to enjoy.

I think our 4th or 5th stay at this location. We'll return. It's one of our Happy Places!!!

We had an amazing stay and really enjoyed the animals and the hay ride. We will definitely be back.

We loved everything about our stay here. The property had beautiful tropical plants everywhere and the host was very quick to accept my booking during evening hours and was always quick to respond. All the directions were simple and clear. Everything was clear and organized and smelt great. The house was very cozy and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. Definitely would recommend this. We cannot wait to stay here again!

Julia was incredible!! We book last minute to get away from a coming hurricane. She kindly allowed us to check in early and gave us a discounted rate. While she was dealing with her own hurricane preparations she quickly responded to every request and went above and beyond. Her place was beautiful and we can't wait to visit again when the weather is better!!

Wonderful stay! Comfortable, nicely decorated and had everything I needed for my stay. This was a last minute request to stay here and Chesa was very accommodating and helped me get checked in quickly. She made sure all my dates that I requested were covered. I highly recommend staying here.

This Is a great place that has amazing lake views and is very peaceful. This was a much needed quiet vacation that helped me unwind and next time I am going to try fishing , thank you so much for sharing your home.

This vacation rental was exactly what we were hoping for. It was private with peaceful surroundings. The unit was very clean, the air conditioning was ice cold & the water for showers was hot. The porch on the back was a wonderful spot to have coffee in the am.

We really enjoyed Ken and Marylee’s cottage, very cozy with comfortable beds and plenty of pillows and towels. The cottage is bigger than I expected. The location is excellent, private and only 12 min drive to Devils Den. The hosts were very sweet to let us check out late and even had continental breakfast waiting for us in the fridge. Great experience, would love to come back.

I was looking for a peaceful and outdoor nature place for me and my family and these place goes beyond. Gerardo was amazing, very helpful and respectful and made us feel like we were at home on our time being.
