I feel blessed to have stayed with Jyoti & Shyam at Kharwa Fort - this is an amazing Indian experience - not only real history but the most amazing food, conversation and hospitality all wrapped up in a magical historical fort. As a solo woman traveller, I felt not only safe but also had lots of time for meaningful conversation and interaction, and also time to rest, explore and more. Visits to Pushkar and the farm were lovely and much appreciated, and also interactions with local village women - particularly Laxhmi and Koushal - memories I will treasure. As someone that’s been to India 12 times, I not only highly recommend Kharwa Fort Home Stay here - I can say this will be your best authentic Indian experience. I loved every minute. It was an extremely relaxing and laid back place to spend some time in Pushkar. The owners, whilst not around were always in contact, and Dilip and Bably were super friendly and welcoming. A peaceful location, away from the hustle and bustle of the main main market and lakeside, but only an easy 10 minute walk.

Staying with an amazing family. People with a good heart! They were very patience with me on my arrival. My arrival had a delay... I had a great stay. The room was good, with a big balcony overlooking the street and the Jain temple. The bathroom however was a bit primitive. Not enough space to reach the sink and only a little water pressure. But for 1 or 2 nights it's perfect. And an other bathroom is offered to take a shower if you want. On one night I had dinner and that was very tasty. Highly recommended😋 I didn't see much of the town, as I was staying here because I wanted to visit some friends in a nearby village. But do ask about the stepwell in the back of the house. Impressing!

The wonderful experience had staying at Eshan and his family’s charming cottage-y room is precisely why I love AirBnbs. He and his family are warm, hospitable and with great stories to tell. They also grow vegetables in their backyard! Eshan’s mother cooked us fresh breakfast every morning with tea (twice a day). Staying with them while in Ajmer was the ideal local immersive experience we were looking for.

We stayed here with our (2) toddlers and as a family, we can seem pretty feral. From the moment we arrived, we felt cared for. If you are in contact with the host prior to arriving, then you’ll have already gathered that sense. Once we settled in, it all feels quite surreal. The beauty of the trees growing within the buildings, the never-ending blooming flowers, the serene sounds of the birds, and lite sweeping that keeps the property pristine. We arrived in-between lunch and dinner. But that wasn’t any problem as this place has an open door when it comes to the kitchen. They want you to feel like you’re at home and at the same time, they will move the earth to accommodate your needs. Whether you want to be taken care of or you want to take care of yourself in the kitchen with making a quick snack or coffee. Again, the doors are always open for you. The service is immaculate and the food will heal your soul. Long story short, I’ll always stay here whenever I’m in Pushkar! ❤

It was an awesome place to stay. I went with my parents who are above 75 years of age, and they enjoyed the stay. My wife and daughter who is 7 years old enjoyed to the most as well. Vayu has an amazing family who are willing to help you with any queries. Their in house Restaurant 'Marco's' serves one of the best Italian dishes I have ever eaten. Their Ravioli was heavenly. The rooms are spacious and give you the perfect farm feel. They have 3 dogs who are really friendly, 2 horses abd lots of parakeets, parrots and other birds as well. Would love to visit again.

Such a lovely place and amazing host, will definitely visit again and recommend others as well.
