Allandale Bush Retreat

A nice relaxing bush setting,on a lifestyle block, that also has farm animals.( chickens, ducks & sheep). There is seasonal fruit to pick from our trees, such as apples pears & feijoas. You can have breakfast outdoors with the bellbirds or a barbecue in the evening. We are only an hours walk along a beach track to the local Otorimiro(Governors Bay) hotel , or else it is 5 minutes drive. We are surrounded by beautiful scenery and close to the Port Hill walking tracks and mountain bike trails.

Te Ara Cottage Tranquil Retreat

Beautiful charming cottage with fantastic view. The cottage has a queen bed, a sitting room, shower, bath and toilet with own deck. Not self-contained but has gas burners, bbq set outside on the deck and microwave, mini fridge, kettle and toaster inside. Tea/Plunger coffee are provided. There is a walking track below the cottage and also more walks around here. We are located in Diamond Harbour, 20min walk to jetty that you can catch a ferry to Lyttelton, only 10min ride, beautiful journey

Relax and unwind in our cozy fully furnished barn, on our tranquil 10 Acre property in Motukarara, the gateway to Banks Peninsula. The cottage was extensively refurbished in 2025 and offers a high standard of clean, beautifully presented self contained accommodation, with uninterrupted views of farm paddocks and rolling hills. Hang up a hammock, and enjoy the sun, or enjoy a scenic walk. Enjoy breakfast on the front deck, and drinks on the patio in the private garden to watch the sunset!

The Birds Nest is a secluded and boutique cabin nestled amongst the tree tops and away from other houses. We welcome you to relax and enjoy some time away in our cosy Tiny house! Located in Cass Bay, with a full ensuite, queen bed, and full kitchen with outdoor deck and close access to a variety of coastal walking tracks. An 8 minute drive to Lyttelton provides a range of eclectic cafes, restaurants and bars and a well-stocked supermarket and pharmacy, and a Farmers Market every Saturday our Tiny provides an alternative to the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
