The property is in a nice peaceful location amidst nature and is a good option for nature lovers if these two things are improved upon : 1. The toilet , it had a horrible smell as soon as we checked in and had huge lizards as well , some effort can be made to fix the broken exhaust as well as sealing in the gaps through which lizards are coming through 2. The fan was not working at its highest speed due to the battery of the remote not working , and I was told by the caretaker that it would take until night for the batteries to come and the property was unliveable until late evening when the temperature dropped

This place is biggger than the expected we stayed for one day 3 members left with little disappointment that we didn’t used the entire place properly try to go with more friends like group of people so that you can use the complete lawn peacee to smoke here

Extremely Beautiful Homestay located amidst a beautiful garden with organic spice plantations & dense trees. 🍃 The wooden & bamboo cabin provides an escape into the nature & has a beautiful mountain view from the balcony.⛰️ The rooms & toilets were clean & beds were comfortable. Ideal for both Family & Friends. The hosts were the sweetest couple who helped us with local recommendations, gave us fresh fruits from the garden & were friendly ❤️ If you're looking for a peaceful stay experience away from the city hustle & wanna get closer to the nature, I'd 10/10 recommend this place 💯

we stayed at Kriscal kabin for 1 day , and it was absolutely amazing . The location of the property is pristine and beautiful , that we were completely in awe with the place . It was calm and the view from the room was so beautiful. Ganesh , our caretaker was available and helpful at all time . The food that we had was the best food we had in our entire trip to kerela . We did kayaking in the lake as well which was a experience in itself . We wish we had another day to spend at the property. It's More than the penny we paid for . Totally worth it .

Amazing view, warm host, homely food. If you are in love with mountains, silence and nature, just being there itself is blissful. There are options for jungle safari and independent drive across the buffer zone of Silent valley. Waiting for our next stay there. Senthil as a host was beyond our expectations. Showed places around and carried good conversations. The place is a serence backdrop in almost forest and it feels like a corner of the world u can get lost and unwind. Highly recommend!

Mudhouse feels like a world of its own. Built from earth itself, it breathes with the land, making you feel instantly grounded. Every little detail has been carefully thought through, the sculpted wall hangings, the decor, even the mosquito net feels intentional. But what truly makes it special isn’t just the amazing beauty of the space or the incredible food, it’s the people. Ambili’s warmth, Devu Chechi’s care, Praveen’s spectacular food, and Deepak treating everyone like an old friend made us feel completely at home. Every moment here was a joy, and I can’t wait to go back.

A unique experience i shall remember all my life ... Didn't expect a tree house 10 m high from the ground :) well , a live in a triplex house , am always going up and down the stairs , so trained enough for this , though its totally different experience here , was worried about the strength of the structure... Was told it was built based on the guidelines of auroville tree house society , seemed sturdy enough for normal weather ... some improvements can be made from the guest point of view which i suggested to the friendly management team , a group of youngsters ... overall a very good experience. saw fireflies for the first time in my life here ... if you look up in the night , you may not find stars but will definitely find fireflies ... the place has peacocks, fly catcher and lots of other birds , you can sea a canopy of trees from above , particularly east balcony , best throughout the day to retire with a book ...food homely though improvements needed in timings,serving,choice.

Enjoyed the peaceful stay at the Treehouse. It's an ideal place to destress and declutter and take a break from the hustle bustle of daily life. The place is very cozy, clean and well maintained. Though the place is small, the owner has made clever use of the space and pack in all amenities that one would need for a comfortable stay! The only thing we found odd is the late check in and early checkout times - you only get 19 hours if you book for a single night!

5/5 Stars We had the most incredible stay at this BNB! The hosts Philip & Minnie are truly amazing - warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Navigation: The location was quite easy to find, and the property's serene surroundings immediately put us at ease. Being situated right on the Periyar river was a huge bonus - the views were breathtaking! This BNB is genuinely one of the best places to relax and unwind. We highly recommend booking it for at least 2 days or more to fully experience the tranquility and charm of the place. Overall, our stay was a completely different experience from the usual hotel stays. The hosts' hospitality, the stunning location, and the cozy ambiance all combined to create an unforgettable getaway. Special mention to Caretaker Ganesh, for taking exceptional care of us.
