Vi hadde et flott opphold hos Marco og vennen hans. Vi ble godt tatt imot av Sajeeva, som var veldig gjestfri. Han ga oss fine tips og var alltid i nærheten dersom det skulle være noe. Rommene var flotte, og interiøret var veldig gjennomført. Barna elsket stedet og følte seg veldig trygge. Det beste med oppholdet var at vi bidro til det flotte prosjektet de driver. Jeg synes det er helt fantastisk at de gir barn muligheten til å gå på skole. Jeg kommer helt klart tilbake og ønsker å følge med på utviklingen av skolen og den nye kaféen. Jeg håper dere setter opp en innsamlingsaksjon hvor folk kan bidra. Takk for oss😊

We (family of four with young kids) came across this house and loved it, but it didn’t have a bed for our one year old daughter, so we sent Vic a message and he went out of his way to find one. Great start! When we got there, the house was even better than the pictures give away: private villa on the quiet outskirts of Ahangama, but a five minute tuk tuk ride will get you to the town’s centre where all the restaurants and such are. Modern bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, nice kitchen and living room, beautiful pool, huge patio with a roof over it, monkeys in the trees in the morning etc. etc. I contacted Vic several times during our stay and always got quick replies with great advice - places to eat, tuk tuk drivers, surf coach and places to see. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again myself some day!

Wir hatten so eine schöne Zeit. Der Garten ist riesig und das Haus war sauber und wir hatten ganz viel Platz als Familie. Zu Fuß kann man die Umgebung erkunden. Restaurants, Supermärkte und der Strand lässt sich zu Fuß erkunden. Eine tolle Nachbarschaft und vor allem eine sehr ruhige. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Die Familie hat uns sogar morgens Frühstück gemacht, das unglaublich lecker war. Wir sind sehr traurig gehen zu müssen und behalten das Haus in schöner Erinnerung . Bis bald , Anna und Tim

Мы провели в этом доме целый месяц и остались в восторге! Просторный, уютный, с прекрасной чилл-зоной у реки, где можно расслабиться и насладиться природой. Особенно понравилась крыша – идеальное место для занятий йогой. Кухня полностью оборудована, так что готовить было удобно. Кровати в спальнях комфортные, спалось отлично. До пляжа всего 5-7 минут пешком, а до серф-спота в Велигаме – около 25 минут. В целом, это был замечательный опыт, и мы благодарны хозяевам за гостеприимство!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an Airbnb hosted by Ruwan, and it was a delightful experience. Ruwan was an extremely warm and welcoming host, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to both the beach and Coconut Tree Hill. The lush green property felt almost like staying in a forest, offering a serene environment. The breakfast provided was very good, with a variety of delicious options. The room was a bit small, but it didn't affect our comfort during the stay. Additionally, Ruwan offers to help plan activities in and around Mirissa, which could add a lot of value to your trip. Despite the minor detail about the room size, the stay had its positive aspects, particularly Ruwan's hospitality, the excellent breakfast, and the beautiful surroundings. This Airbnb is a great choice for travelers looking for a welcoming host and a beautiful location.

We really enjoyed our days in the beautiful house and garden! We loved the space! Only 10 minute walk to the beach and the restaurants but far enough to enjoy the peacefulness of the beautiful garden. Rebecca and here hostess were really flexibel and friendly/ The barking/ protective dogs of the neighbours were scary in the beginning but it turned out the they don’t to anything if you just ignore them.

I had an amazing stay at ISI Villa Dikwella! The villa is exceptionally clean and well maintained, with comfortable rooms and beautiful beachfront views. Its location is perfect right on the beach and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and everything you need. The host was outstanding, providing excellent communication and support throughout my stay, making everything smooth and stress free. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, convenient, and well cared for getaway. I’ll definitely be back!

We were so lucky to discover the Coconut Cottage as our first place to stay in Sri Lanka! Andy was an incredible host, booking us transfers from the airport, meeting us at the house on arrival, sharing a wealth of local knowledge and was super friendly and responsive during our stay. The house is only a two minute walk from the beach, cafes and restaurants of Hiri and very clean and stylish – and we all (family of four) loved the pool and back garden (and watching the monkeys swing around in the trees!). Thank you Andy and Sachira for a fab stay! Would highly recommend.

Met vriendinnen hebben wij hier 5 nachten geslapen! Ruime villa met goede bedden en mooie badkamers. Daarnaast kon er elke dag naar wens ontbijt gemaakt worden en diner was ook mogelijk, altijd erg smaakvol. Alles was makkelijk te lopen, restaurants en winkeltjes. Daarnaast was iedereen erg behulpzaam.

Very difficult to put into words how wonderful the villa is. Very easy to find, great welcome, kitchen well stocked. 3 big bedrooms; 2 with outside showers. The housekeepers really make the stay. They prepare breakfast each morning to be eaten outside by the pool. They will also cook dinner if required, which, frankly was the best food we ate in Sri Lanka. The pool is lovely and in shade. In fact I’d say the property and experience is better than described. 10 mins by the gardeners tuk tuk to Mirissa Beach and restaurants. Thank you!

Tolles Haus mit tollem Pool und schönesn Ausblick auf das Meer. Die Location ist wirklich sehr schön und das Team vor Ort sehr hilfreich bei Fragen, Wäscheservice, etc. Essen kann optional dazu gebucht werden und sie sehr gut. Alternativ gibt es aber auch sehr nette Lokale die in 5-10 Minunten zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Ein Supermarkt ist auch in der Nähe und ein großer Kühlschrank, Teekocher und Nespresse Maschine können benutzt werden. Einziges kleines Manko ist der fehlende Strand da das Wasser direkt bis zur Grunstücksgrenze geht. Man kann aber in wenigen Gehminuten an einen Strand gelangen und dort auch im Meer schwimmen gehen. Der tolle Pool gleicht das aber wiederum aus. Wir haben den Aufenthalt jedenfalls sehr genossen und können das Haus, Amit und das Team sehr empfehlen.

Great place. Right on the beach with a gate that provides complete privacy. Even with the direct proximity to the beach you feel safe and the entire resort has a great chill vibe about it. The waves are great for fun, body and surf boarding and as our close friends said “they just keep coming, it’s relentless fun” and the cool pool has a perfect temperature to plunge into after the sea. Lots of little cafes, bars, restaurants, surf schools and shops all outside the front door. The supermarket is a 10-15 minute walk or a short tuk tuk ride, selection isn’t that good and was about the only negative side of what was a very successful and relaxing week for Mums and Dads, whilst the teenagers were kept happy with the sea, pool and of course, a bit of internet time!! Lastly, the house team were always helpful and obliging to assist and guide. Thank you to them and the evening guard who keeps you safe after a hard day in the sun. We will be back…..

Awesome place. The host is very helpful and can organize anything you need like scooter etc. nice location just off the main road. Bed comfortable and the AC works well. Really great experience

Terrene Villa was everything and more. Jalal responded quickly to any queries before arrival and during the booking process. We stayed for two weeks as a family of 4, plus daughter's boyfriend. The villa is stunning and just as described. Sri Lanka is the gift that keeps on giving and Terrene Villa is the perfect place to enjoy it all. Suda and Judi (apologies if I have spelt their names wrong) were a delight and looked after us very well. Their breakfasts were enjoyable and the fresh juices were delicious. The gardens were kept beautifully and what a joy to see monkeys in the trees and on the roof! Viraj sorted all our travel and day trips out and was always quick to reply and make suggestions. We were so sad to leave the villa, it really is an oasis of calm.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bianca's place. Everything was so easy and the place is amazing. Bianca and her team were very good communicators and responsive. We spent a lot of time walking on the beach and swimming in the pool and exploring the area along the coast, which was exactly what we wanted (and one big highlight of our trip!) The breakfast provided was great - fresh fruit especially! And we also used the laundry here, which was easy and really nice. We tried many of the restaurants nearby and had a good experience - delicious food! We would love to come back here on our next visit to Sri Lanka. High recommend!

We had a very comfortable stay only 5 min walk away from the stunning Hiriketiya beach. Strongly recommend getting breakfast from the hosts it is delicious and authentic for an unbeatable price. Thank you again for the hospitality, we felt very welcome.

I almost don't want to review this as I would like to keep the place a secret but that would be selfish! We couldn't recommend staying in Whispering House more. Upal and his son were incredible hosts, cooking us delicious breakfasts. The house was spacious and perfect for our 2 year old to run around in, and the pool was great and a safe distance away. The location was perfect for us, restaurants close by but also quite quiet. Beautiful beaches along the coast too made for great day trips. upal sorted us out with everything we needed including a lovely lady who came and cooked for us and helped look after our child in the afternoon. Really couldn't recommend this more if you are looking for a family holiday in a stunning location with lovely lovely people.

Ranjith ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber, immer um seine Gäste bemüht und besorgt. Die Villa mit dem wunderschönen und für uns, perfekten Garten ist schwer zu toppen. Geetha versorgt den Garten sehr liebevoll und unaufdringlich. Die Ausstattung mit den Ventilatoren auf der Terrasse und Klimaanlagen im Haus ist sehr durchdacht. Auch die Beleuchtung sorgt für sehr angenehme Stimmung. Wir haben uns schweren Herzens von Ranjith, Geetha und der wunderschönen Villa getrennt.

Staying at this Airbnb was truly one of the highlights of my trip to Sri Lanka. The place exceeded all expectations – incredibly clean, peaceful, and perfectly located close to shops and restaurants. The host was exceptionally kind and helpful, making me feel genuinely welcome and cared for. It felt like a little haven of calm, and I can’t recommend it enough. I’ll definitely be staying here again when I return to Sri Lanka!

It was a perfect stay! House is very spacious , AC is working well, you will find plenty of utensils in the kitchen. There are comfortable two bathrooms to use with friendly baby gecko to help with mosquitoes 🥺 within the walking distance you can find serene beaches and good places to eat. Host was caring and welcomed us with lots of freshly picked bananas, not to mention about great feast he made for us one evening, he is a great Chef!

Ravindu's place is very nice. If you're after a peaceful retreat from busier tourist spots this could be it.Its super clean,spacious,modern, and you have it all to yourself.Near to lagoon and beach.Nice fully equipped kitchen and huge private garden for relaxing.10 out of 10!

This place is a hidden gem on the Mawella beach and a paradise for nature lovers. The lush green lawns filled with birds, squirrels, peacocks, woke us up to birdsongs in the morning. The cook Chaminda makes the most lip smacking food and took great care of us. The beach is a 5 mins walk and was very easy to reach on foot. The place is very well done especially the huge beautiful bathroom and the warm interiors. Overall a must stay for people seeking some calm and time away from hustle.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this lovely three-bedroom house near Coconut Tree Hill in Mirissa, highly recommend! From the moment we arrived, we loved the spaciousness and charm of the place. The highlight was the massive veranda – it's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the shade during the heat of the Sri Lankan day. We spent most of our time there, just soaking in the tranquil atmosphere and relaxing the lush surroundings. The house was impeccably clean, well-maintained, and nicely decorated. Each bedroom and bed is comfortable, making it an ideal retreat after a day of exploring. The location is perfect – just a short walk to Coconut Tree Hill and the stunning beaches of Mirissa. The host and his family were incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring that our stay was nothing short of perfect. I can't recommend this place enough! If you're looking for a serene getaway with all the comforts of home and a great place to chill in the heat then this could be it. 5*'s!
