Communication with host Yussuf was seamless and timely. His responses were clear and concise. He gave us a good discount for our family of 4. The co host pendo was super kind. She checked us in and also took us to the pier restaurant for that much needed dinner by the ocean. She also recommended places to shop at in case we needed to. The caretaker was also polite, present and alert. The place is very clean, quiet and most of all I appreciated the private pool. Thank you Yussuf and Pendo

We enjoyed our stay at Lilian’s place. The apartment is nice and comfortable. We felt right at home and decided to extend our stay. Getting around was easy by Uber and we love the community atmosphere. At the bottom of our apartment is a supermarket and across the street is a nice bar and lounge. We often hang there making friends with the locals. Walking the neighborhood also felt like home as we greet and interacted with the neighbors. Our housekeeper washed and cooked some delicious meals for us that we truly enjoyed. She’s such a lovely person. Lilian was always responsive and flexible to our needs. I would return here and recommend this place to anyone.

Michael was a great host. He was very helpful and flexible when we needed to extend our stay. The place is about 15 minutes walk from the main Tengeru road and it was really clean and comfortable. Esther, the manager, came to clean everyday and regularly changed the linen. She was very responsive and helped us whenever we had any issues. The kitchen was well equipped and there are several local shops where you can buy stuff to cook. The internet was fast for the most part and there are solar panels so we didn’t have any problems when the power went out.

Veronica and Susan, they are both wonderful hosts. They are always ready to solve and help any issues that may come up. There are minor issues with flat and Veronica visited to find out and solve immediately. Thank you for everything, we enjoyed staying your flat 😊

I really enjoyed staying at Leah’s place. Everything was as described: the apartment was very clean and nicely decorated, with a comfy bed and nice kitchen for cooking meals. The WiFi worked well for my online meetings. The area was green and peaceful, and people were very friendly. The location was perfect for me to visit my project. Be aware that it’s not actually in USA River. It is further down the road in Maji ya Chai village. There are small shops within walking distance. Leah is a lovely host and responded quickly and positively to any requests I had. I will definitely return to Leah’s place.

Our stay at Agatha's place was an amazing experience from start to finish. wow!!! what a beautiful apartment. Dennis's place was absolutely amazing. We were there for our wedding anniversary for 2 weeks and Dennis met me and gave us a gift of a bottle of champagne. Anytime I had a question Dennis was extremely responsive in helping make this a very peaceful and lovely vacation. my husband and I had an amazing time and I will highly recommend Dennis place. It was very clean, looked like the pictures, and the art work and decorations were gorgeous. the only downside was that the apartment is on the 4th floor so...get ready for some exercise. Thanks for everything Dennis!

I am very thankful for the time I could spend at the embassy appartment. It was a very nice environment, the land lady was very helpful in everything and I am just looking forward to my next stay with the embassy appartment. The location is also nice and developping around, you can have nice local food next to you. The appartment was nice, it had also solar, what made it easy to work remote & the wireless was also enough strong. All in All very very happy and a little bit sad to leave. See you next time! Fantastiska boende med underbar uteplats och härliga ytor. Hela stället andas lugn och bekvämlighet och poolen är underbar. Stranden ligger nära men är inte speciellt fin men det finns snabb och prisvärd transport till Paje som har en underbar strand. Skulle definitivt komna tillbaka och bo här igen.

This is a peaceful little apartment that had everything we needed. A few floors upstairs. A/C, washer machine, and access to the roof with a view of the ocean. We walked on the beach.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans l'appartement. Une résidence sécurisée avec un personnel aimable et accueillant. L'appartement est très grand et convient parfaitement à une famille avec enfants comme nous ou à des amis. La vue est magnifique . Bonne communication avec l'hôte. Je recommande ce logement.

I can't say enough great things about this place, and if we're ever lucky enough to return to Paje we will absolutely stay here again! The place is an apartment in what is really more like a gated community but it's also super close to everything so it's the best of the both worlds - We loved having the pool, communal working space, cafe, parking for our rented scooter, and laundry available and felt super safe because of the security. It was also really nice having a real space to make our own for the week, with a living room + tv, kitchen, and extra bedroom. The beach is a short walk away and there are tons of restaurants on the main the street that are actually better and cheaper then the beach restaurants. If you're only in Paje for a night or two and want to stay steps away from the beach or be right in the middle of the party scene, this might not be the place for you, but we saw a friends room at one of the beach clubs/hotels and were so happy we were staying here instead :)

Amazing apartment complex i enjoyed my time there, very family oriented and friendly. It’s near stores, restaurants, and a beautiful beach that I loved very much. The hosts are polite and friendly never had a complaint, I would highly recommend!!!

Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen! Auch wenn man mittig von Jambiani und Paje liegt, finden sich viele Restaurants in der Umgebung. Auch lokale Verkäufer und ein Supermarkt sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Strand ist nicht weit weg, und abgesehen der Algen auch schön. Die Anlage selbst ist sehr grün, weshalb man viel Privatsphäre hat. Und durch zwei Pools ist es auch nie "voll". Das Frühstück war super, mit Obst, Ei, Saft und Joghurt und Paola war immer erreichbar für Fragen. Wir haben über Paola eine Tour und einen Shuttle organisiert bekommen und hatten auch sonst eine schöne Zeit in der Nyumbani Residence. Die Unterkunft selbst hat nur eine Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer, weshalb manchmal der Wohnraum etwas warm war. Aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Besonders Highlight sind die süßen Katzen von Paola!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this beautiful Airbnb property! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully decorated the house was. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house itself is spacious, with plenty of natural light and modern amenities. The location was ideal – close to local attractions but still peaceful and quiet. We especially appreciated the clear communication from the host throughout our stay, which made check-in and check-out super easy.

I have already started recommending Christine’s place to others I met on a boat ride and will keep doing so. I wished I knew of her place earlier I would have stayed there the entire time. So worth it. Lovely place

The stay at Mars place was excellent. The place looked exactly like the images. It was very clean as well which I liked. Mars was a very responsive and helpful host and would highly recommend this place. It is a bit of a distance to get to stone town but if you are in no rush theres several available taxis and tuk tuks you can hire. Thanks Mars.
