Travelling North or South and need a stop over ? We are just off Highway 6 at beautiful Gowan Bridge. On offer is the top storey of our house, 3x bedrooms, shower room, separate toilet, lounge with kitchenette and balcony. Our property has 24 acres of paddocks and Manuka forest bordered by the beautiful Buller and Gowan rivers and National Park. Large Park like garden. We offer you country hospitality and a quiet homely atmosphere. PLEASE NOTE you are able to use our full kitchen if required.

Rimu Lodge

Rimu lodge is a cosy cottage neighboured by DOC reserve and is 2 minutes walk to the famous Lake Rotoiti, jetty and Eels and is also close to the chapel, village and visitors centre. The cottage is kept warm by a log burner and heat pump. Firewood and BBQ are provided. The master bedroom has a queen bed and second toilet. Bedroom 2 has a set of single bunks and bedroom 3 has 2 single beds. The property is private and fenced with lawn space and plenty of off street parking for cars and boat.

Sunny Oasis in St Arnaud

Relax with the whole family or a group of friends at this peaceful home away from home. Come and enjoy the full day sunshine listening to the bird song in a sheltered quiet spot. The section is flat and fully fenced to keep your children safe. 10min walk from St Arnaud village and 15min walk to the lake. There is off street parking for multiple cars and a boat. In the winter it can snow here, enjoy a relaxing woodfired hotub in the snow. The local ski field Rainbow is a short drive away.

Okiokinga - a resting place in the forest

Okiokinga is te reo for Resting Place - and this cosy bush bach is just that - a tranquil cottage in amongst the native beech forest of the Nelson Lakes National Park. Hidden up a private driveway, you can enjoy the call of tui, bellbird and even kākā flying overhead. Lake Rotoiti is a 3-minute drive or a 10-minute walk, with tramping, biking, forest and lake activities. Guests need to supply own sheets/duvet covers, towels and pillowcases - there are pillows and duvets/blankets available.
