The Log Cabin on the Canoochee River

This cabin is located on the river bank of the Canoochee River in Claxton, Georgia. This is a hidden treasure in south Georgia. The river is great for swimming, kayaking and fishing. During most of the year a vessel larger than a kayak will not be able to navigate the river. Note: Presently, winter months are not available to be booked. The past two winters have had excessive flooding. Host will make these weeks available two weeks at a time as the water level is adequate for access.

Our camp site is equipped with 30 amp power/water and sewer. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape not far from Statesboro, Pooler or Savannah Ga. Surrounded by a beautiful 1930’s Bed and Breakfast Victorian home and a running plant nursery our home is located in a quaint little town called Hagan which was once a prosperous lumber town. Settlements along the route of the Savannah and Western Railroad which still runs began to prosper and become established as towns.

Enjoy the majestic views from this Cypress Cabin on the banks of the Ohoopee River. Run your toes through the sugary white sand while sunning on your own private sand bar beach. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway in our Nautical Dreams located in southeastern Georgia. A comfortable and cozy spot for up to 2 guest. Surrounded by pine trees and nature, you're sure to enjoy the peaceful setting. We're located outside of town on dead-end dirt road. Nautical Dreams has a very quiet AC unit to keep you cool during the summer heat as well as an above ground 24 ft pool just steps away. Come and enjoy the glamping simple life.

Drift Away

This riverside retreat offers fishing, kayaking, or just relaxing on the porch and listen to the river run. There is a public boat ramp a few hundred yards away. Jack Hill State Park and Golf Course is just 8.7 miles away. Phone reception is poor unless you enable WiFi calling. This is a simple, but clean and cozy cabin. It isn’t the Hilton, but people seem to love it and we love staying here as often we can. Come fish, relax, and explore!
