Bedrooms were really super. Whole apartment was decorated and fitted out to a very high standard. Kitchen had enough equipment to do a breakfast / snack or microwave meal but there is only a microwave oven and rings. Access was via a smart lock which was very easy to use and worked really well - much better than usual Lockbox. Extremely convenient location. Short walk to Torre Abbey and the seafront.

Fantastic weekend , we stayed in the loft which was ideal space to come back to after exploring Clovelly and Bude ❤️ … AND We had amazing pizza from the flame factory which had the best gluten free pizza for my partner !

We had a fantastic one night stay in the Annexe. A perfect stop over whilst walking the coastal path. Lou welcomed us on our arrival and made us feel at home. A lovely peaceful location and also a short walk to the Chichester Arms for dinner. Thank you!

Had an absolutely amazing stay and Susan was informative and made the whole experience as relaxing as possible. Amazing views at the location and the hot tub made it even better. Cannot fault a single thing with this location and we will definitely be booking again! Would definitely recommend to others.

Jack was clearly looking out for us and saw immediately what we needed (getting the bikes stored and getting out of the rain). He is obviously proud of his place and its history, and showed a real passion for it whilst being sensitive to our energy levels. There's a generosity here too (Neal's Yard toiletries) and a flair for decoration (Iain's speciality), giving the house a quirky, homely feel whilst respecting its history. Breakfast was reasonably-priced and beautifully presented. We loved every minute of our stay here.

This bijou apartment was just what I was looking for and ticked all the right boxes. The bed was comfortable and the apartment was very well kitted out. I was only there two days but there were lots of places to eat close by and a laundrette just over the road. Kate also runs a Cafe above the apartment which did a delicious breakfast I recommend this accommodation for singles or couples.

From the minute we viewed the photographs we knew it was for us. Stunning location with the most beautiful views from the back of the house. Awesome location - 30minutes from different beaches, attractions, and NT properties . the host was lovely and communicative, helpful, apologetic when there was no need to be and humble about her beautiful family home. Everything was perfect for our small family with a couple of dogs! Baby was safe , Dogs were enclosed, cleaning was easy, recycling and rubbish was simple and we hope to return !

We stayed in the Shippen for X2 nights. Booked and arrived within a few hours late in the afternoon/evening. It was clean, well presented and so peaceful ! Not to mention the amazing grounds it was set it. Great for kids and dogs also!

My brother, whose birthday we were celebrating, was first to arrive. He had had no part in organising it but I had sent him the email link to contact Gary, and had already explained how friendly and amenable Gary was. My brother was still really impressed and surprised by our host's down to earth attitude and generosity. He also made the most of the jet bath before the kids arrived and ruined his peace! The house was just stunning. 8 people, three families, and no one felt on top of one another. With teens and an old lady, we could have easily fallen out somewhere less spacious. Gary did not advertise how big his kitchen space is and that it doubles up as a dance floor ❤️ Very fond memories made of my kids moon walking with their uncle. Huge hot tub. Max 6 but I don't think we had more than 4 in at a time, and it was a lot more pleasant than smaller hot tubs with 4 in at a time. The view from the back of the house was something else. ❤️ Planning our next visit already.

We instantly felt at home here. The house has been done up lovely and it gives a calm and inviting feel to it. Everything was as described and we would definitely return.

We absolutely loved Claire’s house! It was so cozy and comfortable with everything you could possibly need for a stay, we had our 3 year old with us so it was perfect. Thank you so much Claire!

Loved the location, allocated parking was what was very important for us. Close to town and our friends who live round the corner. It is a lovely new apartment with great views, great shower and balcony. Bed was a little hard for us, but owner is addressing this for the future. But overall a lovely comfortable apartment which was spotless. Will definitely use again.

Beautifully decorated and perfectly equipped studio, with wonderful personalised touches and welcome note. Lovely plant-themed space and the private courtyard and table for morning coffee and breakfast on a sunny day was brilliant. Easily walkable to Teignmouth centre or station and across the bridge to Sheldon. Guest book is full of helpful information and recommendations. Highly recommended, great hosts, very helpful and descriptive check in details and super responsive.

Eves is a very good host!! The room was really nice, clean and comfortable. Stayed only one night but the next time i visit the area I will try to stay here again. :)
