We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Sanctuary! The guest house is well-marked with signs so it was easy to find and know where to park. Every possible amenity we could need was available, and the location was quiet and peaceful. We especially enjoyed the extra treat of Ann’s cookies! We hope to stay again next time we plan a trip to the area.

Our stay was perfect! The house was the perfect cabin feel. Everything was clean, stocked and ready to go. It was relaxing. The host responded quickly to any questions I had and even came to the house to help us start up the hot tub. 10/10 would recommend this place!! We’ll be back!

Amazing views, a nice chance to get away and enjoy peace & quiet. We loved the cabin, so clean and stocked with all the cooking supplies. We hope to visit again someday. I only took one star because it is a bit remote for activities we had planned, we should have planned less and stayed at the cabin more. It’s about a 30 min to Woodland Park, half the distance is on unpaved roads so make sure you a four wheel drive. We had no trouble with the roads even after some snow, they were all cleared. Highly recommend staying here. Montgomery was an excellent host and quickly responded with any questions.

Honestly can’t believe we got a place like this for the price we did! It was so beautiful, quiet, and clean. I also love that it was updated inside, most cabin air bnb’s are very dated. There were also a lot of stocked items that helped us if we forgot something. We will definitely be back, this was the perfect place!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful mountain cabin! The property around the cabin was gorgeous, with a babbling brook and lots of trees. There were multiple places with chairs to hang out at in nature as well as a couple of fire tables which were a great touch. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were all pretty big, and the master suite was amazing! The hot tub was also a perfect place to spend time in the evening. If you're looking for a place to stay with family or friends and get some nice nature time, you won't be disappointed if you pick this cabin!

Our stay was great! Jacquie was a super kind and responsive host. The area was beautiful and remote but still close to so many things to do. The cabin was exactly as described and was very clean. A great get away from the city! Cell service was a little spotty due to the remote location, but WiFi at the cabin worked really well. Definitely recommend getting the check in info prior to getting too close to the cabin to avoid having to drive back into town to get the door code. Overall the stay was absolutely amazing and the cabin was a great landing place after long days outside!!

Mathew's place well exceeds 5 star rating expectations. He is truly amazing as host. His policies are honest, simple, and based on mutual respect. The only thing he asks of his guests is smoke free cabin, leave on time, and don't be disrespectful. He was very responsive before, during, and after the stay. He let me know that the property was available before check in time and allowed me to arrive early. The accommodations are spectacular. A small draw back is the un-paved road if your car or driving level is not accustomed to being off road. The breath taking views and beauty of the property exceeds the photos. The cabin was extremely inviting with all amenities stated and extras, while leaving enough room for things you brought along. The areas around the cabin are set up with pathways and trails to go explore. The scenery and mountain views make you feel one with nature with all the comforts of home. This property has the best hosts and cozy comfortable accommodations.

This place was great! There was enough room and things to do to to keep several adults and children occupied for a long weekend, which is really saying something! The hosts have thought of everything you could need to enjoy yourself from a fully stocked kitchen to bathroom essentials to games and puzzles. Definitely recommend!

The views are stunning, place was super clean, comfortable beds, and all the amenities you'd need. We enjoyed our morning coffee with a beautiful mountain view, and had deer visit at dawn and dusk! The neighbor dog Sandy was a big bonus as she was so sweet and came to visit. Would definitely recommend.
