The Garden House

Our get-a-way is an oasis on a beautiful island, at the end of the road. We are very close to Fillongly Park with its beaches, views of nearby Hornby Island, and old growth trails along the creek. Our garden house is tucked behind the main house. It's surrounded by abundant landscape, woodland, a seasonal stream, and our horse pasture. The house and it's surroundings are private and peaceful. You may see the horses, a peacock, tree frogs and deer, but you won't see any traffic or crowds.

Beautiful little cottage on homestead just 12 minutes from Qualicum Beach. Come connect back with the land and walk the gardens on this quaint little farm. We have Nigerian Dwarf Goats to cuddle with and many free-range chickens. We offer farm tours and fresh coffee. Lots to explore in the area and a quick drive to the beach or old growth forest. Launch your kayak or paddle board steps from your door and explore some of the most beautiful waterfront in the world. Hiking and mountain biking trails are minutes away or just unwind and take in the incredible sunsets. Keep an eye out for local wildlife—orcas, humpback whales, otters, seals, sea lions, and eagles are often spotted right out front. Our small, cozy cabin is full of retro, funky details and has a small kitchen area. Grocery store and restaurants are less than 10 minutes away.

There is a double loft bed accessed by ladder. Half bath (seasonal outdoor shower) and the basics for a cup of tea or coffee and light breakfast. Mini fridge and microwave. Please note: there is no cooking area and cabin is max 2 people. Unfortunately, due to liability, no children under age of 12 since bed is accessed by a high ladder
