This is a charming flint cottage in a gorgeous rural setting. This period detached property offers relaxed, comfortable accommodation with unique character. Perfect for weekend getways or working trips. The property is situated with the grounds of a larger house backing onto meadows with sheep grazing and uninterrupted views of Suffolk countryside. The main living area is open plan with a lovely modern kitchen with table and chairs for eating at. A large leather sofa for relaxing and unwinding looking out onto your own private courtyard. In the bedroom a sumptuous king size bed to snuggle into at night and a delightfully quirky en-suite bathroom await you. In the morning enjoy a breakfast of delicious eggs laid by my chickens as I will leave breakfast essentials for you.

Beautiful Cottage in the heart of Buntingford

Elmden is a beautiful two bedroom cottage set back off of the historic market town high street of Buntingford. A real hidden gem, full of period features. Stained glass, brick floor and exposed beams throughout the cottage. Our charming and cosy cottage is around half an hour from Cambridge and Saffron Walden. With ample scenic countryside walks and bridle ways on our doorstop, you're truly spoilt for choice. *We now use an Electrostatic Sprayer to disinfect all surface and soft furnishings. *

Large rooms, sociable living spaces, a dining table to seat 12/14 and five bathrooms make this the perfect house for spending time with your family and friends. Beautiful garden cottage set in large garden but self contained and fully equipped, with underfloor heating and private patio. Open plan with airy and bright double height main living space and bedroom mezzanine, stunning bathroom. Ideal for a couple or family with young children. Easy to reach both Cambridge and Newmarket as well as Ely which is 15 minutes drive away. Very close to Wicken Fen so great for walkers and nature lovers. Host is flexible with check-in and check-out times.

At Cambridgeshire Lakes, we believe that your holiday should start from the moment you drive down our rural, tree-lined track and into the serenity of our stunning lakeside location. Enjoy a peaceful holiday with wonderful views overlooking the lake. Guests can access the water directly from the decking. There are steps down making it easy to launch paddle boards, kayaks or canoes. Why not be bold & try wild swimming or paddle up the river to the pub for a meal then spend your evening fishing from the deck or having a BBQ. There is an abundance of wildlife on the marina including geese, swans, kingfishers, muntjac deer, bats and on occasions otters.
