Little Italy in Boston. Great place to wander and see some history. Enjoy all of the bakeries & gelato spots.
If you only have one day in Boston, you have to visit the Italian District - Bostonians call it the North End. After the original Pilgrims from England, the Italians and Irish were the other two immigrant groups to impact the city. The North End is still so Italian after 150 years that they might not want to speak English with you!
This is the best part of Boston. One evening should be devoted to dinner in the North End, then coffee/desserts at Caffe Vittoria or desserts to go at Modern Pastry. If you have dinner elsewhere, it’s still worth stopping at either option above and walking down to the Paul Revere statue.
Going to the North end is a must for visitors wishing to experience some authentic historical Boston vibes in our "Little Italy". In the North end you will find countless numbers of fine Italian dining as well as some of the best canolis you'll ever find at either Mikes Pastry or Modern Pastry
