The Grit has been an Athens favorite for over thirty years and is described by Travel & Leisure as "A legendary vegetarian eatery." Back in the day, you would frequently find Michael Stipe here; it is still a cult favorite among local and national musicians, so keep your eyes open! They have an amazing vegetarian menu and serve up a fabulous brunch on the weekends. Fantastic cakes, desserts and, ,if you get there early, early vegan donuts, too :)

Located in Normaltown, a cool neighborhood filled with great restaurants, bars, shops and galleries. A great place for brunch.
