Palais Royal incarnates the classic and timeless Paris of postcards with it's beautiful gardens and architecture, it is an oasis of calm and refinement in the heart of Paris perfect for a nice stroll and escape from the city streets. Located just opposite the legendary Louvre Museum that now a world symbol of culture and art. The Palais Royal neighborhood is rich with cafés, shops and restaurants. You can have lunch at the emblematic Café Marly at the Louvre, have a typically French dinner at Maceo or eat in by getting antipasti at Mille Pates an Italian deli and wine at Cave Legrand. This spot, nestled in a quiet place surrounded by the Louvre Museum, the Tuileries, the Opera Garnier, and one of the city's major artery, rue de Rivoli and a bridge away from Saint Germain des Prés makes it an exceptional place to discover Paris.

Three centuries of architecture. Built for Cardinal Richelieu by architect Lemercier, builder of the Sorbonne, the main body (1634), facing the Louvre, became a royal residence (Regency of Anne of Austria) then the family of Orleans from 1661. The Comédie-Française, the Théâtre du Palais-Royal and the Grand Véfour restaurant, with a listed historical monument, contribute to its reputation. Contemporary art is also strongly present in his courtyard with Buren's columns and two mobile fountains by Pol Bury (1985).
