Skiddaw may also be a "must-do" for any fell walkers in the Northern Lake District. There are several routes to the top, perhaps the most popular is from Dodd Wood on the Carlisle to Keswick road close to Bassenthwaite Lake

This is one of the highest peaks in the area - it isn't a technical climb but it is tough!

Stand on top of Skiddaw and take in that breathtaking view. Its a challenge and a long day walking up but so worth it
