Cob Bakery won Australian Pie of the Year, 2018, plus six other national pie awards. Featured on mainstream media for winning these awards. Then half of Melbourne came up to try these pies. Plus cakes and light meals. Eat in or take away. Take a number and wait, now that they are famous. The story goes the owner was a Cambodian refugee who got a job but wanted to be a Pastry Cook. He studied at night and got two hours sleep in his car, saved up and bought Cob Bakery. The rest is history. Turn left at Destination Kyneton's front gate. Two blocks up in Mollison Street, same side of the road as us. Open seven days. Also still looking for staff since the Melbourne invasion.
