If you have time to get in the car and drive for about 40 minutes, you won't regret having visited the Arboretum. It has a tower to climb and a swinging bridge. It has gardens with info you can listen to on your phone. You can hike here for miles and experience the wildlife of forest, pond, and creeks. In the summer, you might catch a live concert as we did last year. Bring a lawnchair and picnic lunch - or purchase an inexpensive picnic lunch there.
