Vakantiewoningen aan het strand in Thunder Bay District

This beachfront cottage was everything advertised and more. Comfy beds, strong hot water, really well-equipped kitchen, fire pit…and the VIEW. We went in early October and the leaves were just turning. The cottage was a perfect central spot for all of our scheduled day trips to the provincial parks and sights in the area - even close to downtown. Mike was SO kind - welcomed us warmly and gave us local insights and tips about our planned stops. He even took the time to message us and point out the northern lights on two separate nights. 1000% would come back.

Beautiful intimate location, great for a couple or a small family. Lots of intentional things in the house to elevate the stay. Truly a big heart for their guests, and a great property.

Fantastic location, especially if you plan to visit the Sleeping Giant. Huge outdoor space with multiple deck levels, all lit up at night both with solar and motion lighting. Cozy cottage with everything we needed, including a really nice hot tub after a day of hiking and biking. Great stop - would definitely stay again!

Amazing town, amazing airbnb

This is a lovely spot to stay on the peninsula. It’s close to both lakes so you can canoe anywhere. The August long weekend was a little busy on the lake but then it got quiet on Monday. Michael is very friendly and was a great host. All cooking and bbq supplies were available. It was a week to remember for us. Thank you Michael and Julie.

Great spot and get-away! Leeza & Ian were superb communicators and gracious hosts. Their camp was as described and super relaxing location on the water. Easy in and out, and a laid back town/neighborhood. The beach was shallow and made for exhilarating swimming. It was super easy for us to grill and hang out side on the spacious deck. Fully equipped kitchen to cook and make yourself feel at home. We especially enjoyed the proximity to some beautiful parks and excellent hikes. Conveniences close-by (we found Terrace Bay to have all we needed). We will certainly keep an eye out for an opening to stay again when we make it back to their neck of the woods again.

We rented Alexandra's beautiful home for a company retreat and it was so wonderful we are already hoping to rent it again. The majority of my team is local but the others were from across CAN and the US. We were all equally blown away by the view and the spaciousness. It's proximity to town made it easy to grab folks from the airport and for any last minute runs for supplies. (There is also a connivence store only a few minutes away.) We were there to play and test board games, and there was ample room to set up multiple games across various tables. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need. There was more than enough dish-ware, supplies and linens/towels. It does get warm with the floor to ceiling windows but as long as you use the blinds and the many fans it is never to uncomfortable. The private beach and protected swimming area was great for refreshing dips and everyone loved the kayaks and paddle boards. 100 would recommend and stay again! Thank you!

My family absolutely loved this camp. It’s so spacious and beautiful. Waking up every morning to have my coffee overlooking the peaceful lake was a dream. We used the floating dock and supplied floats. I also really appreciated all the outdoor seating Mike had not old down at the beach but by the fire place .

Definetely felt like home… had everything you might need or want… for a short stay or a long stay. The king bed was awesome… so comfortable and cosy. Great little find in a fantastic little town with so much to offer!
