Michelle’s home is pristinely clean and beautiful! The layout is perfect for a group. The elevator was so helpful for my ADA needs, as well as in general for our groceries and luggage. Between the two decks and fenced backyard, there are multiple outdoor ocean side options for relaxing, meals, or games. Our group also really enjoyed the kayak. Michelle is a great communicator and so hospitable. Highly recommend, and we look forward to a future stay.

We had a great stay at Rob and Mary’s beach house. The location couldn’t have been better. It was right across the street from a beautiful, quiet beach, and the house sat directly on the bay. If we had more time, I definitely would have taken the kayak out. They really thought of everything. Beach chairs, towels, bikes, and more were available, which made things so easy since we flew in from PA and couldn’t bring much with us. The house was very clean and comfortable, and Rob and Mary were friendly, helpful, and responsive. They also provided a list of local recommendations, which helped us make the most of our short visit. I was there with my three teenage daughters and they loved it too. We would absolutely stay again.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Bills place. The pups had a great time and really enjoyed their first time on the beach. The house had everything we needed and then some. Everything was clean and and neat at check in. Checking in was effortless. This is a great place to book if you have have and love dogs like we do. We had a great time and will definitely book again on our next trip to Oak Island.

This beautiful house on the river was the perfect gathering place for family togetherness and relaxation. The location was so peaceful and the house so well equipped. We didn’t have time to enjoy the kayaks, but did spend some quiet time sitting on the beautiful dock. The open areas and huge kitchen in the house made family meals and conversations so easy. The close proximity to Old River Farm was perfect for an event. We loved our stay!

We all thought it was awesome from location to the home itself. All our kids had something to do at all times between the games, beach and the sound. We would definitely recommend and would come back!

Second time staying here, and we still love the lovely house, the location, the views of the canal and OIB. Plenty of space for our 6 member family, close to beach (3 minute walk), private canal pier. Highly recommend, just make sure to pack toiletries and linens!

Great location off the beaten path but still close to all the stores, restaurants, and coastal activities. Very quiet and peaceful. Everything we needed to enjoy a stress free and relaxing holiday with our family of 6. Richard reached out ahead of time to allow early check-in and make sure we had everything we needed. Excellent option if you’re looking for an alternative to the traditional "beach rental"

We LOVED this place. The dock was perfect for the boys to fish and catch shrimp. The location was a quick walk to the beach for the girls and a short distance to the boat launch. We’ll definitely go back!

Steve and Hannah’s home was perfect for a family get away. The house was cozy and had beautiful sunrise and sunset views!

As advertised! Would recommend and hope to return. Everything was great! There is not one negative I can think of. One of the best places we have stayed through Air BnB. Sue was a great host, super clean, comfy beds, plenty of space, well equipped kitchen, excellent location.

We loved everything about his place. My grandkids loved the dock because they could fish right in the backyard and we could see them from the back decks. We saw dolphins a few morning and even saw a stingray from the dock. Frederick was an awesome host. We would love to come back early spring or fall so they could catch some fish. Thank you we made some great memories! Beautiful and so peaceful!

Second time that I have been here and it was just as amazing as the first time. It is literally a play ground with all the water activities right at your fingertips and the sunrises and sunsets are picturesque!!!

We spent a week at Pebbys Place. It was so relaxing. We walked at the State Park and saw an amazing mural there. We took advantage of the kayaks and paddle boards, also the barbecue. The house is comfortable and has wonderful views of the lake. We fished, biked, paddled and enjoyed the amazing bird life from the dock and the canal.
