We are 3 miles from the town of Liskeard and 8 miles from the coastal town of Looe. We also have some of Cornwall's other lovely beach towns such as Bude, Padstow, Newquay and St Ives to name but a few

Sheerwater Holiday Home in Downderry is a detached property with it's own private entrance. Downderry is nestled between the old medieval harbour of Portwrinkle and the fishing village of Looe. Set very close to the beach is our beautiful two bedroom self contained apartment at Millendreath. There are stunning views of the beach and surrounding countryside from the large balcony which has a lovely table and chairs. We provide guests with Netflix and free wifi. The perfect location for a family getaway. The apartment sleeps up to four people in two bedrooms with a double and two single beds. You can walk into Looe which is just over a mile walk or drive it in a few minutes.

There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. The mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.

It’s just 100 yards from the SW Coast Path (& right opposite Looe Island) in Hannafore, which is a very peaceful & sought-after area of Looe. There’s free parking on our street, close to the house.
