Eric and Dorian were super easy to work with. Very responsive with communication and local tips. The place itself is amazing with fantastic views, beautiful garden and such a pleasant quaint town. Grocery, shops, restaurants, coffee shop, nice hiking trail right out front! The beach is visiible from the front deck with a nice short walk to both that and the pier. A fantastic spot to cook a nice meal in the kitchen or at the grill, lots of outdoor coffee and dining space. The wood burning fireplace and hot tub are super bonus on either a rainy day or a salty dip. We had both sun and rain the place is perfect for either. Thanks so much for sharing such a special property.

Fantastic three day getaway: hot tub with an ocean view, tremendously relaxing within the mist and rain of Humboldt County. Glorious king-sized *comfortable* bed. Fantastic reclining couch - even had games galore! Close to Big Lagoon, found some beautiful agates. With a view from almost every room, we were always looking out the windows. Great fire pit area - with yet another mesmerizing view! Definitely wish we could have stayed longer.

The location of this house was gorgeous. We came for the redwoods but enjoyed so much more. We could walk to the park, the beach, tide pools, trails, restaurants, a coffee shop and the grocery store. The redwoods were only about 30 min away. We watched the sun setting over the ocean from the second story deck each evening when there was no fog. Trinidad is a great little village with friendly people. We would definitely come back.

Beautiful home! Location was great and felt secluded, bed was super comfortable and had everything we needed! Loved our mini stay and would love to come back if we're in the area again!

We had another amazing stay at Jennifer's place! This was our second time back and it was just as good if not better than our first trip. The house is very quiet and has great views of the ocean. Everything was clean and very comfortable. This has become our go-to spot when staying in the area and we will be back soon!

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at the home with our family of two adults and two young children. As others have mentioned, the location is great, you're right in the center of town and can walk to several of the main things. You have a wonderful view of the ocean from the main window and front porch, and a 30 second walk to the bluff where you can see everything in 180 degrees. We were happy we chose this one instead of the other options that were not in the center of town. The house is simple and had everything we needed. It is very quiet and private and we appreciated the black out blinds to get some good rest. Overall the listing and pictures were pretty accurate with no surprises. The kitchen was well equipped, plenty of clean/quality linens, and all the adjacent amenities we would want (easy parking, backyard, laundry, dishwasher, etc). When we come back to Trinidad would be an easy choice to just book this again.

Fantastic! I almost hate to say how great it was because I don’t want it to always be booked next time I want to stay. But to be fair, we loved it! It’s just as described with lots of room to spread out. We rented both sides of the duplex. The kitchen has the best amenities I’ve seen at an Airbnb so far, and I have stayed at dozens of Airbnbs. I would say for sure it’s a cooking kitchen and a chef‘s dream. Backyard is amazing, the beds were comfortable. There’s plenty of extra bedding and extra pillows which we loved because we’re used to sleeping with two pillows each. Everything is in great shape with solid construction and modern clean furniture. This time of year I especially loved the electric fireplace in the entertainment center, which was nice ambience and kicked out some cozy heat. My husband‘s favorite touch was the small fans in the bedrooms. We are already plotting our next stay!

The place was clean, with very detailed instructions and advice on local attractions (we ended up going directly to the zoo after check out). Response time was very quick with an equally quick turn-around time for check in given the short notice! I would highly recommend staying here the hot tub was great!

Perfect location for a family gathering celebrating our daughter's wedding at a local venue. The place is modern, clean, and spacious for a large group. High end appliances in the kitchen and wonderful leather couches and large TV in the adjoining great room. The hosts were helpful with references for restaurant to accommodate our rehearsal dinner. We highly recommend this location if you have a big group of guests. It's priced for a maximum of 8 guests. Other places we looked at had a base price for 2 people and the raised the price for any additional guests, sometimes as much as $50 per person.

We absolutely loved the home and treasure it as a special place. I imagine we will be back to the area in the not so far future as we both felt very pulled to it and it’s beauty. Your home was the perfect environment to absorb that beautiful areaand I treasure the beautiful wood and artistic touches that you had in the home. Looking forward to many more beautiful stays like this one.

Dimitra was a lovely host... We could not thank her enough for the hospitality and communication. Any questions we had were answered promptly. The home is nestled on a sleepy street among the sand dunes. Although it rained most of the time during our trip, that just added to the rest and relaxation we were looking for. Cozy, clean and warm... with comfy beds as an added bonus. On a final note, this was the perfect place to bring my dog named Cooper. He felt right at home. He doesn't go on road trips often, but this was one he will never forget.

We loved our stay at Misty Morning! Bret’s place is the perfect location to serve as our home base while exploring the magnificent Redwood forests. We’d stay again for Oscar alone :) Oscar had coffee with us on the porch every morning!! The space was clean, quiet, and well stocked with games, kitchen necessities, etc. Beautiful house! Easy experience!

We had a wonderful stay at Tim’s river/beach house in Arcata. Very cool location a short drive from Arcata, very quiet and immersed in nature, by a river, a walk to the beach and surrounded by cow pastures. We explored Trinidad, Arcata and the redwood forests up north with ease. Loved the morning views and pinball !

Lyndsey's cabin is adorable! Perfect for our family of four to cook dinner and relax after a long day at Redwoods. It was really quiet and the beds were super comfortable - perfect for a great night's sleep. The cute little town of Trinidad, with a well stocked market and gorgeous beach is minutes away. Highly recommend this cabin if you are looking for a place to relax.

Absolutely incredible home and property. So beautiful, great amenities, very homey feel. Everything was perfect in every way.

We felt right at home here and wished we could have stayed longer. I really appreciate the things for kids. My daughter loved the books, my son loved the yard and the Jack in the Box. The towels were big and soft, the beds, linens and pillows super comfy, room darkening shades were so helpful, and the neighborhood was quiet so we all got good rest. There are good grocery stores nearby. I liked the Natural Foods store. There is so much wonderful hiking close by and I wish we could have stayed longer at the beach. Moonstone beach was beautiful. We would totally come back to this place, it worked great for our family of 5.

We had a great stay. The house had everything we needed. It's off the beaten path, but it's nice being able to walk to the beach!

Everything went smoothly. The place is great and I my family and I had more time to spend there. Clean, well-furnished, quiet neighbourhood, very clear instructions, every step of the way. The house is decorated with great taste and gives a sense of peace. Lovely.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The inside of the house has been remodeled and is really nice. We loved how easy it was to get to the grocery store in town and to the beaches and forests north and south of McKinleyville. We loved the hot tub and the back yard was spacious for the dogs to run around. Highly recommend!

We had a nice stay at Craig's place. it's close to the coast and made a great home base for exploring the Redwoods. We would stay there again.

It’s a wonderful stay, the property and house are beautiful. We had a great time visiting with our family. John is a terrific host. We would stay there again if the opportunity comes again.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting the Redwoods. The place has a ton of space, great internet and was only about a 30 minute drive to the first Park Visiting Center. I would definitely suggest staying here.
